Im listening to Catfights and Spotlights now, its funny how my opinion can completly change, i love this album to bits now.

Yeah she was meant to be up there with Britney and Christina but she never really took off like they both did. I seem to remember reading a magazine with her in (possibly Smash Hits) and thinking "They're trying to make her Britney Spears but she's too ugly and isn't as good". But now that I look back at her old pictures I can't really find out why I'd say she's ugly as she's very pretty.

I guess she doesn't look too hot in that pic from that era but it's not that bad. I think I was just a cruel child. :( I actually couldn't remember her first single here but I just gave it a listen and it's not bad - it doesn't sound as dated as Britney or Christina's debut, but that could be because it's a year younger.

 

As for the Sugababes album, I'm glad you came round. I think it's quite a grower, it needs a few listens.

Hmm, she doesnt look too great in that pic i agree with you, despite people generally disagreeing i always found Ashlee to be more pretty than her.

 

I adore the album now, Sunday Rain is my new favourite.

I think I prefer Jessica in terms of looks, especially in the 'These Boots Are Made For Walking' video. :kink: (even though she looks a bit slutty in it LOL) They both look alright with a bit of make-up on though but not so much without it. :lol:

 

Sunday Rain is alright, but I'm not really a fan of ballads by them so it's not really one of my favourites.

LOL, you do have to feel sorry for them, they are a bit of a joke really. Ashlee ruined any chances she had of being credible aswell with that miming of hers.

Oh yeah that was awful. :lol: I have to say I was quite snobby about listening to Ashlee at first because she isn't the most respected singer. LOL

Yeah, im torn which one of her songs to go with really between Stuck and More To Life. I prefer Stuck but theres a more positive reaction towards More To Life.

I felt a bit like that when I used M.I.A., everyone was saying to use 'Jimmy' but I was leaning towards something else that I preferred. But now I think I prefer 'Jimmy' anyway and I'm glad I went with it.

Well after three flops, i'll probably go with More To Life and enter Stuck some other time. Im still considering using The 411 again though or even Bev herself.

Bev would be good. :kink: I don't know how she'd do again though. :thinking:
