Posted April 14, 200718 yr Earlier on, while being quite bored, I decided to take a look at the policies of the National Front just to see how much more ridiculous they had become, and was greeted with the usual crap about family values, the criminalisation of homosexuality, deportation of non-white immigrants etc., however, I found a link which led to the following site: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/, which I'd say ranks EASILY as the most offensive site I've seen in a long time. Some of the generalisations on there disgusted me beyond belief, in particular the http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Pages/AboutSite.htm section :puke2: I really do fail to see how anyone with more than on brain cell could honestly believe what they're saying on there, and the following paragraphs really do have a LOT to answer for -_- "For Westerners and others who ask, "Who are Muslims and why do they want to kill me?" we hope to provide answers. For those who swallow the falsehood that Islam is a Religion of Peace, we hope they will find enough reason to at least keep an open mind..." FFS, they're speaking as if it's some giant boogie-monster which the West needs PROTECTING from <_< "In fact, there are exceptional Muslims whose faith gives them character, as evidenced by their sincere denunciation of terror and tangible resolve to ending it. They stand in sharp contrast to groups like the American CAIR and MPAC Islamic supremacist organizations, which use their influence to complain of petty grievances and inflame hatred against a country that tries hard to accommodate their faith in spite of the violence and whining." Which I would say ranks as one of the most patronising and hypocritical things said EVER considering things such as Camp X-Ray, etc... And then, the biggest generalisation on the entire page... "Islam will be a peaceful religion when Muslims stop preaching hate, stop killing in the name of Allah, and stop remaining indifferent to the violence. Until this happens, we will faithfully document each of the reasons why this is anything but a "Religion of Peace." :manson: I think that's probably the only way to express vile sites like that. :manson:

I mean, what about all the fuss made about those sailors in Iran ffs.... Christ, several newspapers were talking about sending out bombers to Theran over that..... JEEEEEZ. And at least people actually knew those guys were still alive... Oh, and of course, there's the other 'petty' grievance concerning the mass murder of tens of thousands of Iraqis by US/UK weapons of mass destruction.... So, the Muslims 'kill in the name of Allah', well, we're killing them in the name of the "Almighty" ourselves actually - the "Almighty Dollar"...... <_< <_< On the back of every Dollar bill printed is the legend "In God We Trust".... So, erm, what does that say...? And didn't Bush himself use the term "Crusade" at the beginning of all this bullsh!t....?
April 14, 200718 yr Author Having checked out the "Religion of Peace" website, I also take issue with their lists of attacks around the world: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/index.html#Attacks and in particular http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Pages/AmericanAttacks.htm I have to say, I'm certain about 90% of attacks on the page are completely falsified, I stayed in holiday in Yala and Pattani in Thailand last year during the PEAK of the Islamic separatist terrorism, and there is NO WAY IN HELL the attacks frequented 1 or 2 deaths per day, indeed, only one attack from the terrorist movement occurred in the area during my 3 week stay and we were even told it was quite uncommon - just a look at how the media over there reacted would've told you that, the event DOMINATED the news for much of the week, and only 2 people died, if the attacks were really as regular as the site says I'm pretty sure the international community would've heard MUCH MORE about it by now given the way the ENTIRE Thai press treated one attack in which 2 people died, and the attacks were, from what I gather from FAR more reliable sources, MUCH more likely to happen back then given the movement isn't the strength it was at the time now... And secondly, they speak of there being only one "seemingly unambiguous case" in which a Muslim-American was murdered post-9/11, I really DOUBT that all of the attacks they have listed were CERTAINLY by Islamic terrorists, half the time I reckon they were just attacks not justified at all by religion commited by lapsed Muslims or those with an Islamic family background... And finally, knowing media coverage in the USA, I'm sure the whole WORLD would've heard of "A Muslim immigrant goes on a shooting rampage at a mall, targeting people buying Valentine's Day cards at a gift shop and killing five.". An attack like that would've generated a damned FIELD DAY amongst the right-wing press in America, SURELY word would've gotten out...<_<
April 14, 200718 yr A LOT of the stuff they are talking about on this list is going on in countries which have entirely precarious Political situations anyway... I mean - IRAQ????? Whatever's going on there I feel that we are partly responsible for anyway seeing as how we got rid of that country's one stabilising influence, yes, a really bad b/astard he was, but he actually held the country together.. Algeria is a country which has had political violence for years, a lot of it is to do with the small matter of the Govt not liking the results of elections which were held some years ago and refusing to acknowledge the actual winners of the election, so whatever's going on there is pretty much a reaction to that I reckon... They seem hell bent on just listing everything, even things which are obviously criminal acts which would be committed by anyone... Next it'll be 'Muslims burgle house' or 'Muslims nick car and go on Joyride' There's no way they'd get away with saying the things they are saying against Jews... The Jewish Anti-Defamation League would be up their arses like an acid enema... It's a pretty disgusting, racist website and the people responsible for it should be prosecuted and sent to prison....
