April 19, 200718 yr Author Athair Ar Neamh has the lightest vocals from Enya that I can think of and she pulls it off..that is such a gorgeous song.
April 19, 200718 yr She certainly does, she more than pulls it off, she pulls it off with style. It's such a relaxing song too.
April 19, 200718 yr My Ten worst songs: (in random order) 1. Marble Halls 2. Tea House Moon 3. Deora Ar Mo Chroi 4. China Roses 5. Deireadh An Tuath 6. Once You Had Gold 7. Angeles 8. Aldebaran 9. Epona 10. Pilgrim
April 27, 200718 yr Well... Aldebaran is pretty good, but Tea House Moon doesn't float my boat. :D Aha, Mike doesn't like Once You Had Gold or Angeles either! B) But why does everybody dislike Marble Halls? :(
April 27, 200718 yr Marble Halls is so eugh. It sounds to me like a church hymn, and not a very nice one at that. :( The only thing that makes it slightly likeable to me is Enya singing it.
April 27, 200718 yr Author I agree with David..I think Marble Halls sounds too old fashioned or something..I like the lyrics, I like the way she sings it, but it still doesn't float my boat. -_-
April 28, 200718 yr Author ^Always. Like to each Gloria her Irishman..wait, what were we talking about again?
April 29, 200718 yr Author  :) I'm trying to listen to Enya songs that I don't care for as much to get a new light on them.
May 1, 200718 yr I've said I dislike certain Enya songs, only to turn around a month later and find that I really like them. It's kind of embarrassing, because sometimes people notice and are like, hey, I thought you gave that song two stars last time...
May 1, 200718 yr Author I think it takes a while to warm up to certain tracks..it was the Spaghetti Western for me..I'm actually kind of liking that track now..and Fairytale..also The Longships, the ending is great on the ears.
May 1, 200718 yr I've always loved Spaghettie Western, but every time I see the title it makes me hungry for spaghetti.
May 2, 200718 yr I know, I don't quite know what to make of it. But what's with title anyway? Who came up with the idea of naming that kind of music "Spaghetti Western"?
May 3, 200718 yr Author I've always wondered about that title myself..I have no clue. By the way, I had spaghetti for dinner today.
