You go to bed after a day in Ireland with all these Irish voices spinning round in your head cuz they talk so much. Quite a surreal feeling!

Good, let them talk..it sounds like a dream to me.

Last night when I was listening to Amarantine, I saw every song in a different light..it was an amazing feeling. Whoever said Amarantine isn't up to par is crazy. :P

Lucky you, David! B) I've heard the Irish love to talk too, so I guess it must be true. My Dad has lots of Irish ancestry, and he talks and talks and talks, then talks some more. After a while, you feel like this:

Ooh, yes, you'r right. Amarantine really is awesome, it's been growing on me lately.

Yes. They talk LOADS. You end up just "mmm"ing at them a lot of the time, in the vague hope that they'll shut up. That's a very stereotypical view though; not all are like that.

I wouldn't want them to shut up..I love the way they talk. I have said that I would like to sit and listen to an Irishman talking all day..especially if they are from Dublin or Cork.
They aren't I'm afraid, no. :( One is getting married in November. :D I'm rather looking forward to the wedding.
I listened to quite a few of my least fave songs... in fact I've listened to the whole albums of The Celts, Shepherd Moons, The Memory of Trees, A Day Without Rain and Amarantine today! I will have to put Watermark on soon to complete the collection. I was revising at school for four hours and listening to Enya helped me work muchly. ^_^

Weddings are... very delicate occasions. If you can steer clear of the bride's mother and other female relatives, you can do fine, but if you're part of the wedding, you're sunk. Everyone's emotional, the caterer is always late or vanished, some flower girl has a tantrum, and on and on. If I ever get married, I'm going to the justice of the peace. -_- But if you're just a guest, they can be enjoyable. :funky: Cake, all those nice little sandwiches they always have, and punch. :D And then watching all the bride's maids sweating in their hideous dress, and being glad you're not them. :teresa:

Revising... going over work for exams. :funky: And yeah, being a guest at weddings is good. :D

 I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding..my dress wasn't that bad. :) The only thing that went wrong at the wedding really was that I was sitting alone, bored to tears since everyone was going all over..I didn't know many people and I'm shy, so socializing isn't at the top of my list. -_-

I tried listening to more Enya songs last night..what does everyone think about Midnight Blue? I think it's rather short and it doesn't really have much of an impact on me..nothing notable, sadly. I also played Marble Halls..I don't know why I don't care for that song because the lyrics are nice and the way she sings it is nice..it just doesn't have that overall appeal like Ebudae or Caribbean Blue has for me. Or the Watermark album as a whole.

Midnight Blue is very mediocre. I did listen to Oriel Window though today on the bus, and absolutely loved it. ^_^
Oh no I'd heard it many a time. ^_^ It's greatness just hadn't captured me before.

Why, David? Its greatness captured me right away. :) But then again, I'm talking to someone that isn't fully captured by the greatness of Ebudae. (I'm just playing)

Yes, I'm afraid you are. :( There are probably many more Enya gems that I haven't totally appreciated yet as well. :o
