I agree, for some reason Sugababes vocals actually didn't sound as strong on this as they usually do which I could never understand why but it's probably due to the fact of the cheap production. They obviously used Girls Aloud production budget and Sugababes video budget.

I agree with you about the vocals, I hate GA with a passion but I wouldn't 'blame' them for the awful chart run. I don't think that song suited either group at all, it was just a really bad idea and it really shouldn't have been done at all IMO! For such a major collab to only be the 20th best selling single of the year up to the end of April says it all really. :(

I just hope the public aren't so stupid as to go off the Sugababes because of it - they've done loads of great songs, and I think the next album could be really interesting! :)

The public has went off Sugababes for quite a long time now. Since 'Red dress' they haven't been able to make something big. 'Follow me home' was a huge flop, 'Easy' did poor on charts (for a brand new song introducing their greatest hits), and the Greatest Hits sales were very disappointing (their worst album sales ever, by far), and then they had to cancel a 2nd single. Now everyone says Amelle is great and should go solo, while ex-members are criticising the band in the papers... So Sugababes' problem has nothing to do with "Walk this way" really, you can't blame that single.

And about "Walk this way", it has been produced by Sugababes producer, I'm sure Xenomania woulda done so much better. The 1st single from the album better be big!

I think the Sugababes realise they have to come back with something huge! And I'm sure they will ^_^

One Touch was the worst-selling album, less than 1/2 of what Overloaded did. And it's not a suprise considering how much the studio albums sold that Overloaded didn't do the same as them

The 2nd single was probably cancelled because the charity single was being released instead

Yeah, I think the public have gone off the Sugababes quite a bit recently for some reason. :( But the record being, well, not very good, is bound to have made matters much worse! :P

Hopefully the girls will have a killer comeback and prove all the doubters wrong again. ^_^ But even if they don't have as much success as they had in the past - I'll be happy so long as they put out good music and keep doing what they love. :)
