I think they are picking good singles in the UK, it was deffinitely a good choice to release LAB first, and if they do a special remix for the UK it should do well. I hope they release Promise after this though.

Well apparantely the UK are getting an exclusive remix by Kardinal Beats as well as a special cut video!!

Looking forward to hearing the new version though I don't think any remix cn beat the original

OMFG

I LOVED the Kardinal Beats remix of 'Oh', thought it was better than the original TBH ^_^

I don't think it's true. :(

The normal video and track are all over TV at the moment. :P Which is a shame, I think this could have done quite well if they had of released it like 8 months ago when it was all over TV.

Yeah, Get Up was a REALLY bad choice seeing as it's nearly a year old <_<

Give us Promise

Bad choice as well, I just don't think the track is strong at all like everyone else seems to. I say bring on My Love and see how it goes. ^_^ I think the reason LAB flopped was because it was so similar to her earlier singles, as much as I love LAB it is quite similar to the earlier stuff, as is Get Up for that matter. So I think My Love will show people a different side of Ciara. ^_^

"promise" would flop over here, unfortunetley. i think it's one of her best songs, but that sound ain't in the charts at the moment which is a shame.

it should be:

"like a boy"

"my love"

then whatever's next

she needs to get her arse over here and promote too. records don't sell themselves.

I suppose you're right there, but look what happened to And I

Although that was a stupid choice, it should've been Next To You if she HAD to release a ballad, that was AMAZE <_<

Get Up would have and still is a good single choice for the UK but I just shoud have been released earlier.

I'm not sure how Promise or My Love would do in the UK, I think they would be better of releasing 'Make It Last Forever'

Also, I don't think this will get any support from Radio One either :( :(

If I chose the releases it woulda gone like this

01 Get Up [July/August 2006]

02 Promise [November 2006]

03 Like A Boy [April 2007]

04 My Love [June 2007]

And if they were to consider a fifth

05 Make It Last Forever [september 2007]

Can u send me the video rip please if you don't mind :)

Well at least if it *is* download only they have an excuse for it being a flop.

Apparently this is just to keep Ciara's name out there anyway until the release of ''My Love''.

According to MTV "Can't Leave 'Em Alone" is confirmed to be the next single in the U.S. as she's shooting a video for it soon.

Luckily the UK aren't getting it :cheer:
