Legends. Really like the new album too - pure Dinosaur Jr and no attempt to 'modernise' their sound (a good thing!)

Take your pick mate - "Bug", "You're Living All Over Me", "Green Mind", "Where You Been" "Beyond" (the new one), "Without A Sound", "Hand It Over", "Dinosaur"....... All bloody great albums..... Start with the new one and maybe work your way backwards... For a potted history, there's the compilation "Ear Bleeding Country".... You should check out Lou Barlow's (the bass player for DJ..) various other projects as well after he was kicked out of Dinosaur Jr - Sebadoh in particular were an absolutely marvellous band, the very definition of true "emo"tional rock music, Barlow also was in Folk Implosion, well worth checking out them as well.... In fact, the term "Alternative" was pretty much coined by J Mascis in the first place, J is the very definition of an "Alternative Rock Star" (ie, an 'alternative' to the "c**k Rock" bullsh!t of the LA Glam Metal scene which the Indie/Alt Rockers absolutely detested), far more so than Kurt Cobain ever was IMHO, a truly amazing guitarist as well, as anyone who has ever seen Dinosaur or J Mascis play live will tell you...
