They are really similar so which do you prefer?

It has to be Girlfriend for me..I've never cared for Hey Mickey.

Hey Mickey was fun but of course 'Girlfriend' blows it out of the water no competition.

Hey Mickey is great but Girlfriend is like the awesome updated and modern version of it! :D

Glad to see I wasn't the only one to notice the total rip-off of "Hey Mickey" in Ms Lavigne's frankly awful new "song".... Sorry guys, but "Girlfriend" is a quite horrid, half-arsed "tribute" to a classic 80s Pop tune.... "Hey Mickey" was one of the songs of my childhood, and I totally despise Lavigne for ripping it off so badly..... <_< Sorry, but for me this is like someone p***ing on a happy childhood memory....

Don't feel too badly about my previous post though, I detested what Marilyn Manson did to one of my favourite Depeche Mode tracks too.... And dont even get me started on his interpretation of "Tainted Love"..... <_<
