Thought i'd try this out to see how it goes. If this gets a good enough response, I may make it a regular feature ^_^

1 Razorlight - Somewhere Else

Sheer brilliance. My favourite single of the 21st Century bar none

2 Stereophonics - Dakota

Their first and only no.1 to date, and deservedly so imo. Class

3 Futureheads - Hounds Of Love

Amazing cover of a classic. They're also from Sunderland, which earns them browny points

4 Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.

Arguably the Gorillaz finest moment. Should have been no.1

5 Maximo Park - Apply Some Pressure

I may not have been impressed with the album, but this was by far the stand-out track

6 Kasabian - Club Foot

Not their best track, but definately deserved its re-issue. Shame it failed to enter the top 20

7 Kaiser Chiefs - Oh My God

The single that started it all. Catchy, sing-a-long fun.. and one of their best to date

8 Hard-Fi - Tied Up Too Tight

One of the best songs from the album. Shame it wasnt the song that first got me into them

9 Feeder - Feeling A Moment

Didn't see much success, but its one of the many highlights from Feeder's "the singles" album

10 Caesars - Jerk It Out

Irresistable. Found this constantly getting stuck in my head at the beginning of summer 05

I like the idea of this Michael, but how did you do it? Did you just remember every song from March/April 05 and decide you're top 10 from them? I was planning to do something like this and wouldnt mind a few tips on where to start ^_^
