May 7, 200718 yr I was very impressed with "The Back Room". In spite of people saying it sounded samey, I think the album was quite unique and Editors definitely have their trademark sound. The singles taken from it were amazing as well and I can't wait to see what they come up with this time around! Erm, I fail to see how it's their trademark sound when bands like Echo and the Bunnymen and Teardrop Explodes were doing pretty much exactly the same thing back in the 80s Luciano.... And you fail to take into account that Interpol have a similar sort of sound as well, so I dont think Editors are 'unique' particularly... I think they're a good band and I did like the album, but let's not kid ourselves that it was really anything groundbreaking....

May 14, 200718 yr I can't believe no one has posted this video yet: efPH32-xJSM Don't pay too much attention to the video itself, it's a self made thingy just to accompany the song, but to the song itself, An End Has a Start, which is rather brilliant I must say. :cheer: Edited May 14, 200718 yr by Nautilus

I have the feeling it may start competing against Blood as my favourite Editors song :o xXx
May 14, 200718 yr The title track is great can't wait for the rest of the album, it will be hard to top The Back Room, if the new tracks are as good as the title track, the album should do well.

May 15, 200718 yr It's a good-sounding single - not much progression from the first album, but... I'll forgive t hem. I don't think the Editors themselves pretend they are that original a band. In the battle of the bands, I'd take them just over Interpol... only just though.
