Seen as though we're back after Buzzjack's little hiccup this week i thought we could start a new chat thread!

 

also i've just been watching the dvd again for the 49276590563rd time and i saw at the very end it says "Pink's Stuff Inc"....so i thought thats what i'll call this thread :D

the caps are on my computer which has just restarted itself for the 7th flippin time....grrr

 

the plan was to upload them on monday but for some strange reason i agreed to overtime at work on monday, hopefully i can make a start on them on tuesday but i'm goin shoppping.....again

 

 

ok question for u, or anybody else i guess....

 

when a laptop gets left on all day it gets a bit hot, now apart from turning it off for an hour (thats not goin happen cuz i'm goin be asleep in an hour...) how the hell do i....erm....cool it down?? cuz i think thats whats up with it, i turned it off for half hour earlyer and it was ok but now its all hot and bothered again :unsure:

ok....first laptops aren't really designed to be on all day (downloading movies :P )

you need to make sure its on a surface where all the air can escape (on a desk).

to cool it down, you can....stick a fan up to it, turn it off, prop it up from the surface so the bottom cools down abit.

they also get hotter when there plugged in, unplug it for an hour if you can.

if the batteries 'dead' (had its time) it can cause the comp to get hotter.

also heavy cpu usage, makes it hotter, just do 1 thing at a time, lol.

 

i kno all that as i have had the prob, lol.

 

hope it helps. might be worth buying the fans you can get to go under it....as its a new movie every day :P

i just got myself all upset last night james, i get like that often tho, after a while things just get on top of me :(

 

yeah work was ok, i did f*** all pretty much, i got payed for looking busy for 5 hours :lol:
