I think this whole project is going to flop massively :( Snowflakes still isnt on Sweden's Pop 100 on itunes, never mind the overall top 100, and the album isnt going to do well if the single isnt known about :(

The thing is no one knows she has a new single out :(

Ive got the album, on first listen its rather bland at points :( However some songs are good

Quick Review:

 

01 - Never Wanna Lose You - The album starts with this ok electro pop tune, its ok, the chorus is good - 6/10

02 - Hot Night - I like this, very upbeat song quite instant to - 8/10

03 - Voices Of Today - Very 80's sounding blandfest, nothin to say - 3/10

04 - Snowflakes - I really like this song still, great electro-pop tune - 8/10

05 - Lost In Your Eyes - I just about managed to listen to this all the way through, but its so snoozefestly - 2/10

06 - Desperately - I love this song, my fav on the album, the chorus is amazing its a lovely pop song - 9/10

07 - Always Something - Its upbeat and cool and i really like the chorus, but something is missing - 7/10

08 - Spell Im Under - I quite like this pop song, its catchy and fun - 7/10

09 - Me Against The World - The upbeatness stays the theme with this song, the song in general is just ok, the chorus is nice though - 6/10

10 - On The Run - A pretty good slice of electro pop but nothing more - 7/10

11 - You Belong To Me - Very weird depressing song, the violins get on my nerves - 3/10

12 - Spell Im Under II - I don't like this one much, an ok end to the album but it drags on to say its only 3 mins lol - 4/10

 

Overall: Its a real mixed bag to be honest, its rather weak and bland in points, certainly not a patch on any of her other material but its a grower i think - 6/10

Heres what I think:

 

01. Never Wanna Lose You: I really like this! Kicks off the electropop theme very well, its like a midtempo-ish track. 8/10.

02. Hot Night: Instant favourite! Kind of tune you'd put on whilst youre getting ready to party :P 9/10.

03. Vocies Of Today: Despite the appearance of oddball Youssou NDour this is alright! Quite decent ^_^ 7/10.

04. Snowflakes: We all know this is a classic tune, pure elcetropop at its best, nothing more to say. 10/10.

05. Lost In Your Eyes: This is quite a grower actually, its slowish but quite good. 7/10.

06. Desperately: A great kind of balledy-electro thing going on here, utter brilliance! 9/10.

07. Always Something: Again, alright uptempo pop. 7/10.

08. Spell Im Under: Kind of dark-sounding but very good, poppy again. 8/10.

09. Me Against The World: This one is a bit more fun with some kind of electronic beats at the start and end. 8/10.

10. On The Run: Just electropop again, but this isnt as special. 7/10.

11. You Belong To Me: Darker again now, and really good! 8/10.

12. Spell Im Under II: Very good, same as the other with sections removed. 8/10.

 

Overall a great album! 8.5/10 ^_^
