I was just wondering what her sales were for "Breakaway" in the UK, cuz wikipediea says 2 million. I hope this is true but just wondered if anyone can confirm it.

I dont think it's 2 million, but it's deffinatly over 1 million

Its most definitely not 2 million! I think I remember 1.2 million being the final figure but could be wrong..

2 million is definitely wrong. I think I last saw it on 1.4 million so I imagine it's on about 1.5 million now?

1.5 Million I would imagine. I remember reading in a Music Week report last year at the time it was the 54th best selling album of the decade. 2mil is a MASSIVE overestimation.

I dont recon itll do anything like as well. Never Again is okay but not really lead single stuff for me; i recon album goes in top 3, maybe number 1, but drops out of the top 40 before the next single is out. Maybe 2x platinum by the end of things. I'll be getting my copy though!

I remember reading it was on 1.5 million a few weeks ago, so I doubt it's gone up much since then.

I don't think 'Never Again' is very good :(

i think its like a 4th single release not a good lead single, but i think cos its her she`ll do well alone just cos of who she is. but i dont think (unless she has some great songs on it) that the album will have the same staying power that breakaway did. But then again she may do, we never no. she is really liked over here

Breakaway had a lot of good songs you could relate to and sing along with, this one seems a lot more rockier from the few tracks I've heard and not as good. But she has a large fanbase over here now so she'll do well I think.

'Never Again' has grown on me so much now, I really love it!

Was about 1.45 million at the end of 2006, so not much more than that I would imagine :)

It just got awarded a disk for 1.5 million, if i remember rightly... and when the new album is out, breakaway will prob be put in woolies cheap chart and it will sell a bit more ^_^ .. i like never again.. i think the video should help it ot tho... the album should g to number one either way tho.. hopefully..
