There's 'I care 4 U' and then her family released 'Ultimate Aaliyah' which features the singles, remixes, unreleased tracks, b-sides and an hour long documentary. I think Aaliyah would be huge by now too - especially since Timbo is so popular (she worked with him for almost her entire career).
January 18, 200817 yr i have the I Care 4 U album, and the Aaliyah album, both amazing. My favs are "We Need A Resolution", "I Care 4 U", "Are You That Somebody" and "One In A Million". She definitely was ahead of her time, I mean everyone's jumping on the Timbo bandwagon but she was doing that way before everyone else. I think if she was alive now she'd be a megastar with some Hot 100 #1s, and massive European success, not to mention her rise in the movie scene (she was gonna do the Matrix at the time). And she does have a good voice, especially on the song "I Care 4 U". Its her favourite song :)

January 22, 200817 yr What a great topic I was affraid people had forgotten about Aaliyah's talent. She wasn't a pretender like a lot of the R&B girls who have come out in the last 5 years claiming to be the real thing. (Lumidi springs to mind) I have all the Aaliyah albums accept for Ultimate Aaliyah. My fav singles are - "Try again" "We need a resolution" "More than a woman" "4 page letter" "If your girl only knew" and "I don't wanna" off the Romeo must die sound track. My fav vid was try again where she's dancing with her cain, to this day I'm trying to get abs like that! I can never forget the song "Down with the click" because that's when I sat up and took notice. :wub:

January 28, 200817 yr Glad she got this topic! Been a fan since "Are you that somebody" and still now I play her cd's quite often. Makes me wonder where she would've been today, especially as Timbaland is HOT atm..! And is there ANY news on the collaberation album that should've been released ages ago?
