Events and Articles Delta becomes face of The Leukaemia Research Fund and subsequently the 'Alternative Hair Show' Campaign In an article posted April 29 titled 'I'm fit and strong now. I feel blessed', Delta is interviewed by the chairman of The Leukaemia Research Fund that she has become a spokesperson for. The article has Delta telling him of her experience with Hodgkins Lymphoma including details I didn't know about - you may be different. Anyways, its a good article and a good campaign for Delta to be heading (its a UK charity). Delta says she will be active in being the face for the Leukaemia Research Fund with her first job is to be the public face for one of the charity's biggest annual fundraising events, the Alternative Hair Show. A website has been put up for the link of Delta to the Leukaemia Research Fund called deltacharity.com where you can directly donate through Delta's cause - justgiving.com/deltagoodrem. In the DeltaCharity website there is a written message from her - Message From Delta. Among other things, in this message she says "At the Alternative Hair Show I will perform songs inspired by my survival including “I believe again”." To me this is a possible indicator that the 'Dido-sounding' song will be on Delta's album. In a blog posted April 20, a hairdresser named Matthew revealed that Delta is to be the face of the 'Alternative Hair Show' on October 14 2007 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It will be the 25th anniversary of the Alternative Hair Show which proudly sponsors The Leukaemia Research Fund - a charity set up to improve treatments, find cures and prevent all forms of leukaemia and the related blood cancers including Hodgkin's disease and other lymphomas, myeloma, the myelodysplasias and aplastic anaemia. Delta did a photoshoot for the campaign on the week leading up to April 20. Brian was on the show to debut his new single "Like Only a Woman Can" which he dedicates to Delta who was wearing a sexy off-the-shoulder top as they both arrived. The rumour also follows an exclusive webchat with Brian giving an unclear answer but saying that a move like this is in the pipe line for Delta. Please add your thoughts in these discussions. Delta and Brian in Dubai Brian whisks his and Delta's family to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, possibly for early birthday celebrations in Early April. He is rumoured to propose to Delta there, however this is only just a rumour. Another recent article called Cruel Brian ; Ill Never Marry Delta ironically states the opposite and that Brian would 'never marry Delta'. Delta was in Dubai as first proved through this thread, My Sister Just Saw Delta!, and then again later on a recent meeting with Delta includes Delta saying she was in Dubai recently.
