April 30, 200718 yr It is really so sad...he was so young, I only knew of him because of the duet he did with Lucie. I can't imagine how his family/friends/fans must feel :(

Message of Lucie Silvas on her myspace : "30 avr. 2007, Gregory Lemarchal Hi Everybody I want to say a few words about Gregory Lemarchal who sadly Passed away this morning. I Was shocked and upset to hear the news today. Greg was not only a beautiful artist who I had the great honour of collaborating with but a charming, sweet and wonderful person who I will miss hugely. I want to express my deepest sympathies to his family, this must be an incredibly hard time for them and I send them all the love in the world, how proud they must have been of Greg. Also to all of Greg's fans who loved him and his music and hope his memory and music will bring Joy to them always. Greg was so kind and wonderful to me and the little time we spent together working will be cherished forever. Rest in Peace Gregory, We will miss you. May 1, 200718 yr Sorry to hear that, it's always when sad when someone dies particularly when they're young. A girl from my school died from the same illness which was in the local paper at the time.

May 4, 200718 yr Tonight's show is realy moving... Celine Dion just talked, she was very sad aswell... there're loads of artists to make him a tribute... Celien's niece Karine died of the same disease (she dedicated "Fly" to her). People with cystics fibrosis seldom live beyond 30. :(
May 5, 200718 yr Lucie posted this message on the forum an hour or so ago ... hopefully some of it will bring some comfort to Greg's fans. For Greg .. I came back from France this morning after an overwhelmingly sad day yesterday-the funeral of Gregory Lemarchal. Even that is hard to write as i still can't believe it is true and that He was taken away so young. I want to send once again my love and respect for his wonderful family and his beautiful Girlfriend-how brave they all were yesterday-it breaks my heart to imagine what they are going through along with all Greg's family and friends, and his dedicated fans who showed their devotion to him yesterday more than ever. I wanted to say how honored i feel to have sung with Greg-not just because of his beautiful and angelic voice but because he was a kind, gentle, genuine and generous person who shared his music with me and let me into his life, if only for a short time. I am honored to have met his family who are so proud of their beautiful son, thank you to them for letting all of us show our love for Greg and our support for you-our thoughts are with you always. I wish Greg was still with us but want more than ever to remember how we love his music, how it touched so many of us, how brave he was-how he still inspires all of us to battle against all the odds and show us that anything is possible. Am i grateful that he has made me look at things differently- life, music and the people around me-he made everyday of his life count by fulfilling his dreams and I am so proud to have known him. I hope he is watching over us and still singing his beautiful music. Today i listened to "Je t'ecris" , a perfectly amazing song by the voice of an angel. I have probably said to much but i wanted to write down how i felt, i hope it is ok -love and kisses to Greg always-maybe i hope he can somehow see the messages that we are all writing and what everyone feels for him, we miss you. Rest in Peace Greg x x x
May 6, 200718 yr Author He's charting 12 times on I-tunes top100 songs (France of course) : #01 SOS d'un terrien en détresse #11 Ecris l'histoire (and #62 #67) #12 A corps perdu (and #48 #84) #30 Show must go on #37 Je suis en vie #38 Même si, what you're made of (avec Nolwenn Leroy) #41 Même si, what you're made of (avec Lucie Silvas) #88 Aussi libre que moi His studio album and live album are on top of sales on online shops and digital charts, but it shouldn't be #1 on physical market since the album is 2years old and there aren't that many in shops I think. The show on Friday was viewed by 10,5M people, and they raised 7,5M euros (5M £) for CF fight! Edited May 6, 200718 yr by Poprocks87
