Posted May 1, 200718 yr Wow! I got this album in Woolies in their cheap chart last week for £3.99...it really is quite unexpectedly brilliant with some really great pop songs...like a mix of Steps and S Club 7...They all have great voices! I hope they do well in Eurovision and have the opportunity to make another album as this hi-NRG pop is great  Anyone else have this album? Here's my mini-review 1. For Sure: A perfect pop song, very catchy and not as cheap sounding as their other singles...should have been a much bigger hit. 9/10 2. More than I needed to know: The band's only top 5 hit, its quite catchy but does seem to rip off Steps more than most tracks...not one of my faves 7/10 3. When My Baby: The beats sound as dated as Whigfield but the song is insanely infectious 8/10 4. One of these days: Good pop song, not a standout track 6/10 5. Zoom: Sounds like an S Club 7 album track...very good 8.5/10 6. Never Stop Believing: Another good pop song! 8/10 7. The Best is yet to come: Should have gone top 10...ended up at #12...a very good pop song and good choice of single 9/10 8. Stay: Very infectious and memorable but more cheesy than the rest 7/10 9. The Next Step: A rare ballad...quite nice...like the follow up Kylie and Jason never released to Especially for you 8/10 10. Syncopated Rhythm: Don't like this one that much: 4/10 11. Music to My Heart: Great song...should have been a single 9/10 12. Third Time Lucky: Another good song to finish the album with 8/10 Overall: 8/10...surprisingly complete pop album that I completely overlooked in 2000 when it came out :o
May 1, 200718 yr Liked the singles especially The Best Is Yet To Come. Music To My Heart is a great song. Natalie released MTMH a while back - a more dancy version as well as Unchained Melody. Don't like Flying the flag though!!!

May 5, 200718 yr I don't think they're going for credibility though. Which is an understatement. Its fun pop, the charts have been lacking it for a while
May 5, 200718 yr I don't think they're going for credibility though. Which is an understatement. Its fun pop, the charts have been lacking it for a while if you mean 'meaningless drivel' then thankfully you are right! scooch epitomises everything thats bad about the music industry. its just a meaningless jingle, it has no message, no connection to higher emotion, they say nothing. i cant understand the appeal of something so vaccuous, devoid of anything.
May 5, 200718 yr unfortunately, i dont think there will ever be credible enough to make it big. of cousre they wont, to be creditable they have to be talented... scooch are a complete product, devoid of any talent whatsoever, so how could they ever be 'creditable'?..
May 5, 200718 yr of cousre they wont, to be creditable they have to be talented... scooch are a complete product, devoid of any talent whatsoever, so how could they ever be 'creditable'?.. I suppose though its better than hearing the likes of 'Akon' etc which have NO emotion in their music as its all explict, so whilst many of us despise Scooch at least their music has some meaning and 'fun' instead of degrading women and encouraging the slags.

Well that I can agree with. I loved 'For Sure' and 'The Best Is Yet To Come', both great classic pop songs.

May 5, 200718 yr Meh I like Flying The Flag. :D It is just fun pop that you can have a sing/dance to when you're pissed. :D Akon et al, doesn't have that, or musical merit... in fact they just more or less say their lyrics, so you may as well just buy a book really hadn't you? :(
May 6, 200718 yr Their best song is "music to my heart" the record label was crazy for not releasing that as their debut single! fools!
May 24, 200718 yr More Than I Needed To Know. I resurrected my Pepsi Chart 2000 album and lo and behold this was on it! :o As well as excellent tunes from Lene Marlin and Six Chix, who tried to represent the UK at Stockholm in 2000's Eurovision. :D
May 24, 200718 yr I LOVED more than i needed to know it was a great pop track, for sure was good to but the best is yet to come lacked that uumph factor,i hope they follow up flying the flag for you as there is room for a decent pop act in th echarts now i think
