May 1, 200718 yr Personally I think he's the one KILLING hip hop.... Exactly right. Yeah in terms of hitting the mainstream and having all his singles score high downloads and everything, he's done fine, and will probably continue to do so, but he's killed hip hop. Hip hop now is associated with guns, drugs etc etc just about everything that is wrong with soceity yet people like Fiddy goad it. His new single is utter $h!te as well, which is nothing less than I expected of him. I hope he flops, both here and in the US.

Tbh I'm sick of hearing about Timbaland, 50 Cent and Akon, they're all cack and I can't really tell one from another 50 Cent's lyrics are p*** poor aswell Why's he got a "Street Single" and a normal one? I imagine the 'Street Single' will be for his homies in the ghetto or something along those lines. The one i've heard is the Bank one. Is complete $h!te. Doubt it'll flop though. Fiddy seems to be one of thos artists that sing Ba Ba Black Sheep on a loop for 4 mins and it'd still sell loads.

'Cack'-love that word (how random) :lol: Yeah Fiddy has ruined hip-hop,his songs are so repetitive,'girl shake that ass up and down booty touch the ground', his songs are always along those lines.But by the looks of the sucess of his last album his popularity is diving.

May 1, 200718 yr Oh good lord help us. I LOVED Gangsta's Paradise and I'll Be Missing You. I just can't stand the likes of 50 Cent, Akon, Eminem all of them. It's obvious 'gangstahs' will purchase this in droves - we can hope but he won't flop. -_-

And wow the most awful song ever perhaps if he does hook up with Robbie? :mellow: I thought my dislike of the Williams could fall no lower...
May 3, 200718 yr im not bragging and im not sure if in saying this im right, but I think i've listened to more rap than anyone here and all I can say is the bling and the girls and the gangsta thing started way before 50. He just mainstreamed it with some great producers and catchy hooks. And if you listen to his old mixtapes he was actually one of the best underground mcs in the late 90s. I way rather listen to real hip hop like Mos Def or Talib Kweli but 50 is just a guilty pleasure of mine, kinda like what pop music is to me :lol: :P
