She was played 51 times this week bringing her total to 344. If she can hold the #1 position for one more week she will achieve the longest run #1 ever. Top 20 Chart commentry: Debuting at #20 we have Beyonce with “Upgrade U”, she also has a debut at #26 with “If”. Down 6 spots we have Hilary Duff “With Love” at #19, looks like it’s going to be a slow fall for the Duffster. #18 sees a fall for Ciara who only peaked at #17 the previous week, looks like “That’s Right” won’t have even half the success “Like A Boy” had. Fergie’s next single “Big Girls Don’t Cry” climbs a nice 20 places up the chart giving her a 2nd Top 20 single, at #17. After her tremendous re-entry into the Top 10 just a few weeks ago JoJo is on her way out for her 2nd time, “Too Little Too Late” drops to #16. Falling out of the Top 10 we have Timbaland’s “Apologize” at #15. Bjork’s latest track looks set to enter the Top 10 in the next few weeks, a massive achievement for her, “Earth Intruders” was played 18 times this week landing her at #14. “Say It Right” is the most played song in the Top 40, having 409 plays in total and 4 weeks at #1, it is now the end of it’s time it would seem. Nelly falls 5 places to #13 this week. Just above Nelly we have Natasha Bedingfield who’s “Unwritten” earns itself a new peak, at #12. Cascada’s latest track “A Never Ending Dream” falls a whooping 8 places from its #3 debut, landing it at #11 this week, though she has managed to get certified Gold this week. Right at the bottom of the Top 10 we have Timbaland’s “The Way I Are” which is set to make a slow fall down the chart now, falling 5 places from #5. The biggest climber this week goes to Kelly Clarkson who rose an amazing 13 places to #9 this week, with a certification to go with it. Fergie’s “Glamorous” see’s yet another week in the Top 10 in at #8, due to a new Remix being released, also giving her a new certification of 2x Platinum. In at #7 we have “Gypsy Woman” by Hilary Duff, who’s peak is yet again #2. It’s up one for JoJo’s “Like That” who is at #6 with another 32 plays this week, achieving Platinum status. Amerie get’s her first ever Top 10 this week with “Take Control” which is at #5, future #1 maybe? Avril rises this week to #4, “Girlfriend” is obviously benefitting from the new album being released, could rise even further. #3 goes to Madu with a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere”, wheras LAX climb to a new peak with “Forget You” at #2. So who is #1? Well it’s obvious, Rihanna’s “Umbrella” stays at the top for the 4th consecutive week. Also gaining a new certification. If she makes it one more week she will have the longest run at #1 ever!
