Yeh this is a real grower as I didn't think much of it at first, it's not the strongest and catchiest lead single but its still pretty good

I quite like this. Mya has a very sweet voice and its quite weak in this song :( But with a decent, sexy (but not sleazy) vid like this, and just because of who she is, it could do well in the US. Dont see her doing much over here though, if she even releases.

I think its OK, but she shoulda upped her game. After all it is her long awaited comeback, the stakes are rising now and this song just isn't too hot, lets hope it goes down well, and her second single will be better

Tbh she is doing a lot of promo for this, it seems she and Kelly Rowland have both been all over American TV lately to promote Lock You Down and Like This. At the very least the album will have decent first-week sales in the US.

lol I haven't heard anything about Mya, I only saw some pictures the other day of her...I think she was at TRL or something, or she was at a party with kelly Rowland that all.

 

I've seen Kelly more about, shes done radio interviews here and in the US and been on tv shows, yet I think they both still need to do a lot more, especially Mya

"R&b singers Kelly Rowland & Mya keep promoting their upcoming albums. Now they were spotted at the same event in Toronto, Canada. On May 12th it was held the 2007 Fashion Cares and the girls were there to perform. Probably they both sang their first singles though i'm not sure but Kelly's performance looks pretty hot so i'm guessing "Like This" she did and about Mya's if she sang "Lock U Down" it must had been a kinda acoustic version cause she was sitted all the time. I dunno also if this show was tv broadcasted but i hope it was cause i wanna see Kelly performing badly! Anyways hopefully we'll see both girls performing very soon. Remember the new Kelly Rowland album titled "Ms. Kelly" hits stores on July 3rd and the new Mya album "Liberation" will do it on August 14th."

quite good not amazing but should be a hit for her although i was hoping she would come back with something a bit stronger as shes been away for a long time sh needed to make a big impact.....

Hopefully if it's promoted and picks up some radio support it can be a decent hit!

I wouldnt have thought this would be a hit here but we seem to have taken people like Amerie, Kelis and Kelly Rowland into our hearts :P So maybe Mya will have a decent hit with this.
