Yeah Loose was released 3 Months Prior to the other two albums. but still sold Heap-Loads More ^_^

 

Btw. this Thread is not intented to be bitchy in any way :lol:. i like Christina's album and so on, it just was expected to be the other way round.

 

With Loose having much lower sales, than the two more High Profile Soloists.

I thought that too- I think everyone thought that to be honest with you!

They all had huge opening weeks, and still she has sold so much more than them.

 

Also, another thing i have noticed:

 

Justin was about 1.5 million copies in front of Nelly at the start of this year!

Now the gap has gone down to about 700,000 copies.

 

Justin Timberlake FutureSex / LoveSounds 6.624.150

Nelly Furtado Loose 5.934.000

Yep she is slowly closing in on him.

 

Shame for Christina though, and beyonce really, their followups just havent been as succesfull as their other albums. Mainly because, the albums are alot worse than their previous :lol:

 

 

I'm just pleased Nelly is up there with the Big Guns :wub: where she belongs ^_^

To be honest with you, apart from 2/3 songs, Beyonce's new album is kinda rubbish!

Xtina's is good though!

 

Nelly's album is the best out of those 3 though and one of the best of 2006/2007

Beyonce's was a huge let down, Christina's is half good.

 

 

B's was and still is rubbish!

Nelly and Loose is really the start of something big! She is phenomanal and I'm just glad now she got the sales to reflect that. Loose is fun, edgy and yet still keeps some of her earlier sound. It's perfect!

 

She does really deserve this recognition and I'm glad it's come now for her. :D

Maybe now that we have pretty much hit 6 million we can make it 7 :kink:

yep it is, and i hope it does it in style!

Its great for an artist to achieve such sales these days.

 

But she released Strong Singles, and made the right choices. ^_^
