May 2, 200718 yr For a team that will be in its 2nd CL final in three years, it's surprising how Liverpool doesn't keep up with Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premiere League. Do they focus more on Champions League than in the domestic tournaments? Liverpool are a team that don't conceed many goals, but don't score many either. That works for them in the Champions League as you don't have to score highly. The two games against Chelsea show you how tight it can be but can still go through. In the premiership it's about getting points again and again. 2.5 points average per game, means you have to keep winning and that means keep scoring, there is not the luxury of sitting and defending.
May 6, 200718 yr I don't think Milan will let it slip this time around. But thinking of it, both teams shouldn't be in it. Liverpool aren't champions (Haven't been for 17 years :???:  ) and Milan were involved in this Italian match fixing scandal :w00t: :nono: Makes a mockery of the Tournament :o

May 6, 200718 yr I think Defoe would score for fun at Liverpool :o failing that you might buy Owen back as he is not an Allerdyce type player as Fat Sam likes big guys
