its revolting to be that big, its revolting to be stick thin... the human body was built to be a certain size and be it big or small the person should live to that dimension.

Is it anymore disgusting than the endless pics in the media of "size 0" models and celebs though...? I dont think so, I find that repulsive.... she's making a point here I reckon... Okay, it may not be particularly attractive, but the point has to be made I feel and good on her for making it...

Well quite. I do praise for her not bothering about her weight and that she can make it despite being big. But really, it's not exactly any healthier to be that fat as it is to be size 0. Both are completely vile.

I do think she deserves applause for not bothering about her weight but I really wish I didn't have to keep being confronted with images of her. :(

..Whereas it's perfectly okay with you to be confronted, nay, bombarded with images of underweight, skinny, anorexic models which promotes an equally unhealthy body image.....? Obesity, anorexia, bulimia..? What's the diff really...? Beth Ditto is basically being very confrontational and attempting to counter all those 'size zero' images with her own body image... There is actually a point to it...

Oh, and poor Menswe@r - you've put them on 3 times and Gay Dad only once. As it goes Menswe@r had 1 good album, but 'We Love You' (their biggest hit amazingly) was so gut-wrenchingly bad, photo-fit, post-britpop, kick-horns-hiring $h!te that their indie drum n bass follow up did not get released.

Oh it was an indie country rock album and it did get released in Japan

Yup...although I thought it was an indie / drum n bass collection :D
I did find a review of it but I'm too lazy to find it again unless you're really interested!
she is so repulsive, why would anyone want to be that fat??

and would anyone buy her records??

What has being fat got to do with someone buying records. I dont give a f*** how fat or skinny, ugly or attractive someone is. If I like a song I buy it, simple as that.

Well, duh. I'm just sick of it - there are plenty copies from the first release still around.

indie drum and bass. one of the mags said it was more country and only surfaced in Japan. so if it was indie drum and bass, did they really manage to actually invent grindie a billion years before it was cool

btw do you think the words Menswe@r will put people off Vatican DC???
