She's my favourite video director after Chris Cunningham and Michel Gondry.

Her work with Annie Lennox/Eurythimcs and especially Shakespears Sister was groundbreaking - some of the best promos ever made.

She seems to have become a tad commercial of late (Natasha Bedingfield?! Please...), but her work is still top notch.

I love her. She's really talented. Look at the list of videos she's directed, and almost all of them you've seen or heard about.

HDL was a masterpiece.

She's directed a lot of Sophie EB's and Gwe's greatest videos so I like her :D
In all honesty I didn't even realise half of those tracks even HAD videos.

My three favourite videos from that list:

Shakespears Sister - Hello (Turn Your Radio On)

The Jesus and Mary Chain Ft Hope Sandoval - "Sometimes Always"

Rufus Wainwright - "Going To a Town"

She is consistently good but her work has got a bit samey recently. It's so easy to pick out a Sophie Muller video nowadays.
  • 3 weeks later...

she didn't direct jamelia's "see it in a boy's eyes" i don't think, unless she was using another name?

but i love what she did with vanessa carlton's "white houses"

i can go in there and put that father christmas directed "see it in a boy's eyes".

anyway, it was directed by someone called WIZ B) cos he/she picked up an award for it back in 2004.

It wasnt directed by Sophie :(

One more video to her videography: Tell Where It Hurts by Garbage (May 2007)...

To hell with everybody else

Seriously, the song sounds ace! Thanks so much for posting ^_^

  • 6 years later...

I haven't watched all her videos which she directed but "Cool" is my favourite of them. I also found so hilarious "Trouble" by Pink. I always laugh when i see angry Pink to grab the men from "w****s and kick their asses from beds..It's so iconic video..Love it!!!!

p.s I just watched it again because i had a long time and i realised that Jeremy Renner played the bad role of sheriff..
