Can anyone really believe how bad this team have done over the last few years. Reminds me of Blakburn and how bad they did after that amazing season

They've done becaus of how much debt they were in. Add that to a poor crop of players and some not so great managers it all adds up to why they're playing in League 1 now...
They've now gone into administration and have been deducted ten points so will finish bottom this year.

 AHAhaahahahahaha... it just gets worse for them

That's better though, not worse. They were already down so lose 10 pts this season rather than next and starting in League One on -10.

That's exactly how I see it as well. They were already relegated and now this has just confirmed it. They're lucky it's at this point of the season and is not happening at any other time to be honest...

I think administration will be good for Leeds though, I mean many clubs have gone into administration and are now very financially stable, but I don't think they'll be promoted next season, all the signs seem to be that their best players are going to be leaving.

It's the manager which needs to go, not the players. When we went down we got rid of the dead wood but KEPT our best players. The squad we have now is substantially better than the one we had when we went down to seasons ago because we replaced our c**p players with good ones. It's only because Megson was $h!te that we struggled.

I'd be very suprised though if Bates sacked Wise and Poyet. He seems to be building the old school Chelsea up North now. He should have gone for a manager who's experienced and not an un-proven manager. Creswell, Healy etc, will all be moving I reckon. Add that to the fact that the ticket prices for Leeds are not going to decrease at all, i'd say the future for Leeds United looks pretty bleak indeed. :cheer:

As Swindon Town are my local team I'm delighted that Leeds Utd have been relegated. Providing Swindon do better than lose with a net 4 goal deficit than MK Dons then Swindon will be playing the same team whom Dennis Wise left at the beginning of the season.

Just think when Dennis Wise took over Leeds they were higher in the table than Sunderland. Still at least Dennis kept his promise to get Leeds out of the Championship

Hopefully Leeds Utd will be a blueprint for Chelsea FC in the near future once Roman Abramovich gets bored of his little toy.

I think Leeds are gonna have another relegation battle next year tbh. I honestly think they could do a Wimbledon/MK Dons or Rotherham type thing. :o

How do you like the manager Paul Sturrock, is he doing well for Swindon? He was a great player in his day for Dundee Utd.

The whole Leeds saga proves if you spend vast sums of money on trying to buy success, and you don't have a chairman with billions in the bank, then when it goes wrong it goes spectaculary wrong.

The bad thing is, its the same people who will own them( a minor change to the name), and the real losers are the small businesses who are owed money by Leeds and will be lucky if they get anything back. You might think its no great loss if the taxman loses the £5million or so he is owed, but this might affect the tax rates in the future for you and me. Trust me the taxman will get his money from someone.

My Local Team, Yeovil, are in League One currently. They have a place in the play-offs. But If they don't get up, they will be playing Leeds United next season :o Wouldn't have thought that 6 years ago

Good job Leeds declared themselves bankrupt when they did, they were pretty much garuanteed to be relegated anyways so the -10 points doesn't really matter, but if they did it just a day later they would have had to start the next season on -10, not good

I believe there ticket prices are extortionate aswell

"Luggy" has done as great a job at Swindon as he did at Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton, Plymouth Argyle, Dundee United and St Johnstone. He has got us promoted - which is the 6th time he has done that in his career as a manager.

His record as manager of Swindon Town is Games 29 Won 17 Drawn 5 Lost 7 = A win ratio of 67%. When he took over he said his aim was to get Swindon Town promoted to the Championship in 5 seasons. So he now has 4 seasons to get us promoted from the 1st Division.

I hate Leeds, vile scummy thuggish team and always have been and given their record on hooliganism seem to be generally supported by knuckle dragging racists, I hope they end up in the Conference :)
