May 17, 200718 yr A 'Star Studded Ceremony in London' ????   Do they really expect any of those 5 to turn up?   But guess who's going to be there... TT will perform and are nominated in the music category along with Sir Elton and Amy Whinehouse. All of a sudden I'm not so thrilled anymore about this whole event. -_-
May 18, 200718 yr They must have a single coming out..... I don't even think they need a new single out to turn up for the opening of an envelope. I can't really be bothered with all of this anymore. At first I thought great, something positive at last but now my impression is more like it will be the same old c**p. TT are going to win their category (they are performing, so who else should win -_- ) and Rob will be made to be look like a loser because he hasn't got a chance in his category. Regardless of the fact that he is up against The Queen among others...
May 18, 200718 yr I've said this elsewhere ..... they're just setting him up to fail wrapped in a nice Greatest Briton package. Its still doesn't make sense to me why even put him in the Greatest Briton category and not the music one. If its based on sales for last year Elton John shouldn't be in there. The Sun .... wolves in sheep's clothing :arrr: And TT performing ..... well if there's a camera turned on anywhere it'd be shocking if they WOULDN'T appear
May 18, 200718 yr Well the music catagory is utterly bizzare tbh. Where are Snow Patrol, Arctic Monkey's and all the other best selling acts of the past year?? What is Elton doing there? Is it based on his Vegas shows or something. Or maybe just because of his 60th Birthday gig.
May 19, 200718 yr I think Robbie might be there on the night! I saw the advert for it and kate was like, And people on the night will be Gorden Ramsey etc. and more, and then she goes, Robbie Williams ;) :o
May 19, 200718 yr Really? :o I must stay tuned to ITV to see that add :o The only way he'd show up is if he was going to win I'd imgine, and I really can't see him winning considering he is up against the bloody Queen

It is Rob :w00t: & he is definately more exciting than the Queen ( no offence to the Queen )...... B)
May 19, 200718 yr Well Scotty... It is Rob :w00t: & he is definately more exciting than the Queen ( no offence to the Queen )...... B) Well it would'nt take much to be more exciting then Lizzie. I just saw the add again and Kate did indeed mention Rob, athlough I think it was more a case of using his name to get peeps to watch due to him being nominated as oppose to him turning up. I would love him to fly over to the UK for these and the Ivor Novello awards, only if of course he was going to win. :P

May 20, 200718 yr Hm - I'm quite sure when they mention Rob's name in the ad they just mean that he is featured in the programme, which is only logical as he is one of the 5 nominees in the Greatest Living Briton category. It would be funny if he did turn up on the night thought - so much for The Sun article and "no public appearances this year" :naughty:  I guess no one really expects him to be there, a few fans might fall off their sofas if he did appear. :w00t:  Quite like that thought, but I'm pretty certain he won't be there.
May 20, 200718 yr I'd vote for Robbie long before I'd vote for Lizzie. He has given me years of 'pleasure' :w00t: . While Lizzie has, errrrr..... :P
May 20, 200718 yr ** Wait, when I was at school in the late 70s/early 80s Lizzie visited my local town. We all got the afternoon off school to go wave daft wee flags as her car drove by. Naturally we all went home instead. I remember Wimbledon was on and I watched Bjorn Borg. *** That's what Lizzie did for me. So well done Lizzie.
May 20, 200718 yr I wonder if we will be able to vote tomorrow night or is the TV vote just confined to the UK.....mind you I wont' be voting for 'HM' as Rob is ' King ' after all....... :naughty: :naughty: :naughty: :w00t:Ill' bet the Queen is a secret fan of his anyway...... I am just looking forward to the day when he will be called Sir Robert Williams...because it will happen...I mean it has happened to bloody BONO & BOB so why should it not happen to our main man...... B) Edited May 20, 200718 yr by TessaT
May 20, 200718 yr Yep, I'm sure it will happen one day, probebly not till he is in his 50's or 60's though :P And yes, Bono and Bob are'nt even British yet they got it.
May 20, 200718 yr Apparently the Old Queen Mum was a Robbie fan. Thank God she never lived to hear d!*kh**d! :o
