May 10, 200718 yr Is it really true that she actually drove again yesterday, despite being banned with her excuse being that she did'nt understand what being banned from driving meant.  i dont think so..... thats what i heard the first time so i doubt it would be the same again ;)
May 10, 200718 yr Oh. I heard it on the radio, that she was back driving again  Anyone has this been posted. A petition to get her off. http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/PH21781/?e Just look at the opening paragraph  Paris Whitney Hilton is an American celebrity and socialite. She is an heiress to a share of the Hilton Hotel fortune, as well as to the real estate fortune of her father Richard Hilton. She provides hope for young people all over the U.S. and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives.
May 11, 200718 yr It said on the news this morning her jail sentence may be reduced to 21 days, urgh how stupid, the vile creature shouldnt get special tretment yet does
May 11, 200718 yr I signed the petition! Here's what I said Even goat-faced millionairesses have to face justice. Her crime is driving whilst criminally stupid. She provides an escape for our 'mundane' lives? SHE EMBODIES MUNDANITY! And sad internet queens like the people who started this campaign are toe-curlingly awful and embarrassing. Jail her for life, please. ;)

This is fukkin' ludicrous.... <_< <_< The American "Justice" system???? What a bloody joke.... One law for the rich and shameless another one for the poor, urban black and white working classes..... "Land of the Free" eh...? Bollocks.... "Land of the Free", only if you have enough Money......
May 12, 200718 yr i'm sure her lawyers have told her to find a warden to bribe with $$$ (her father will deposit money into the warden bank account) so she gets special treatment and is looked after well, a lot of wealthy people do this its common practice Edited May 12, 200718 yr by perfecto
May 12, 200718 yr She isnt Banned from Driving btw. She is actually still allowed to drive, her banning ended at March. The other day she was photographed using her mobile, but that isnt illegal over there, but still frowned upon. And i think its true about her sentence being lowered.....

The other day she was photographed using her mobile, but that isnt illegal over there, but still frowned upon. And i think its true about her sentence being lowered..... She bloody well should be banned from driving - FOR LIFE.... Anyone so completely without regard for their own or anyone else's safety should be disqualified, simple as... It's about time that the punishments for Drink Driving became a lot more stiff, mandatory 5 year prison sentences and 2 years disqualification would sure as hell prevent even the most ardent drinkers from even sniffing a drop if they intend to drive, as for using mobiles...? I would say a 6 month sentence is appropriate (with Hands Free and bluetooth there really IS NO EXCUSE for actually holding a phone to your ear while driving)... Punitive...? Harsh...? Yes, but if it could potentially save a life then I reckon it's justifiable... Want to drink...? Don't drive, take a cab or a night-bus if you live in a large enough city.... People like Paris Hilton have even less excuse, they can easily afford a personal Chauffeur....

I agree with all that lot except for the fact that anyone convicted of drink driving should be banned from driving for LIFE as well as serve 5 years in jail Anyone who drives with a mobile phone should get an automatic LIFE driving ban as well as a prison sentence too

And obviously a good 20 years for Manslaughter as well....
May 12, 200718 yr Wooooooh, and I though I was harsh..... I think that if a Drunk Driver kills someone, Obvious Life ban there.... And obviously a good 20 years for Manslaughter as well.... LOL nah driving while drunk is the most vile thing that a motorist can do really, it is a severe breach of trust and puts every road user at risk, infact I think the allowed levels are too high and should be lowered, infact 0 alcohol would be the ideal limit.
May 17, 200718 yr Paris Hiltion's sentance has been halfed, shame it wasnt increased to life. "Paris Hilton is to serve only half of her 45-day jail sentence after it was reduced on account of her recent good behaviour. The hotel heiress will serve 23 days at a "special needs housing unit" in suburban LA, away from other prison inmates. She will be imprisoned in a block that contains just twelve cells, each holding two people. It is reserved especially for celebrities, policeman and those of high profile. Hilton's jail time came after she violated her probation for a drink-driving conviction. Her sentence begins on June 5. " from digitalspy.com
May 17, 200718 yr god, she was only doing 45 days. it wasn't like she was serving life. they might aswell just not put her in prison if they're going to tend to her every need and treat her like she's superior to everyone else on this damn planet. ugh.
May 17, 200718 yr Seems it's not only Paris who's above the law then, but also policemen who've broken the law  priceless!
