June 3, 200718 yr Its not gonna be safe just to put her into a normal prison so i think its reasonable that she gets the benefits to be honest just going to prison is "justice" enough and to be honest, I dont think there is such a thing as justice anyway and i think its a stupid reason to send somebody to prison they complain they dont have enough room in prisons and this is why Last year my uncle was murdered. and his murdered, he will serve 2 years. its absolutley terrible there is no such thing as justice. so they dont put people that commit the real evil crimes out there, into prison for long enough, but they chuck people in for driving while banned. it just angers me

Well, Hilton's gonna be in an American prison, well, I say prison, it's more like a holiday camp for celebs and dirty cops really... And Drink Driving and violating parole conditions is NOT a "stupid" reason to send someone to prison anyway, and you wouldn't say that if you'd known a person who'd been a victim of a drink driver... Yes, it is unjust that your uncle's killers are only going to serve 2 years, but presumably that's the fault of the CPS for not pursuing things with more vigour.. Hilton deserves to be put in prison, simple as, she and others think they dont have to abide by the rules, she got away with a custodial sentence purely because she wasn't supposed to drive anymore, she ignored it cos she's a stupid cow, and now she's getting what she would've got in the first fukkin' place if her surname hadn't been Hilton and she didn't have a billionaire daddy.... <_< Celebs get away with far too much IMO, that should anger you even more....
June 3, 200718 yr so they dont put people that commit the real evil crimes out there, into prison for long enough, but they chuck people in for driving while banned. it just angers me It angers me that you consider drunk driving to be a trivial crime and driving while banned Go check the annual figures of how many people die and are crippled each year by drunk drivers then come back and call it a non evil crime ! as far as I am concerned running over someone when drunk should be treated as murder It is only through sheer luck that someone hasn't died through the antics of Hilton and Lohan !

Spot on Craig.. Lohan hit a kerb I do believe, which means she was near as dammit driving on the fukkin' PAVEMENT!!!! Where a PEDESTRIAN would be!!!!! I cant believe there are still some idiots out there defending her...
June 3, 200718 yr Just another example of how people are not allowed their own opinions, mine will not change I have not argued against any of your opinions I merely stated my own. I respect everyone elses, so i should have the same in return Edited June 3, 200718 yr by MikeyJosh
June 3, 200718 yr Just another example of how people are not allowed their own opinions, mine will not change I have not argued against any of your opinions I merely stated my own. I respect everyone elses, so i should have the same in return With all due respect, this is about law and order, crime and punishment, the whole principle of justice being blind to a person's skin colour, religion, sexuality, bank balance or celebrity status. More important than whether or not Paris Hilton's album is any good or not don't you think....? And the fact is, she should NOT get away with doing sh"t you or I wouldn't... As for the "prison is dangerous" arguement... Tough.. She should've thought about that (if indeed she is even capable of thought)... So, we shouldn't send people like her or corrupt cops to prison because it might be a 'bit dangerous' for them... Well, let's just send all the peados, nonces and rapists to a holiday camp as well then..... <_< I suspect the reason why you've not argued against mine or Craig's points is because you cant actually argue against them....
June 3, 200718 yr No, i just respect your opinions. thank you very much. Ive done all I wanted to do - express my own opinion. arguing about is pointless. none of us will change our minds Edited June 3, 200718 yr by MikeyJosh
June 3, 200718 yr Presumably you'd feel the same sort of outrage for the guy who got sent down for 25 to Life for stealing a slice of Pizza then a few years back, because it was his "third strike".... Mind you, he didn't become a huge Media Cause Celebre, no "online petitions" for this guy..... Could be because he was poor, black and working class and NOT some rich white heiress..... <_<
June 3, 200718 yr Author No, i just respect your opinions. thank you very much. Ive done all I wanted to do - express my own opinion. arguing about is pointless. none of us will change our minds this forum is for DEBATE, to discuss and reason about things in the news and about deeper issues. the lounge is where you go to spout out glib remarks that have no support with facts. you and others are getting 'shouted down' and 'not being allowed to have your own opinion' because scotts right, you havnt the intelectual capacity to reply in an adult fashion. if you post a comment in here, as i hope you and many others will, be prepared to be able to defend it. :) thats NOT putting you down, or even talking down to you, its putting the facts bluntly. me, scott, craig, russ and others have all been where you are now... its normal, natural and expected!
June 3, 200718 yr Author apparently ub40 are suing her for ripping off their hit 'kingston town'.... looks like more trouble for the great airhead.
June 3, 200718 yr Sorry but is this actually allowed? Get prisoned for 40 days or whatever, dress up as a nun and then get your sentance halved?
June 3, 200718 yr Sorry but is this actually allowed? Get prisoned for 40 days or whatever, dress up as a nun and then get your sentance halved? In the Good Ole USofA where "Celeb" scum like Hilton and Lohan can apparently do no wrong, it certainly seems to be allowed..... <_<
June 4, 200718 yr My take on it is that she should get the same punishment as anyone else would for it. -_-
June 4, 200718 yr  i expect to see pictures in the Newspapers of her soon then  Tbh, its all a whole shambles now. She isnt being punished, wow she might have to live without some luxurious things like, her mobile and $h!t, but hardly punishment. Sentence halved, and her Cellmate has been Hand Picked  Prison sentence, more like a bloody joke.

Sentence halved, and her Cellmate has been Hand Picked  Prison sentence, more like a bloody joke. You're right, she aint being punished... She's basically been sent to a Butlins holiday camp-type prison... She should be in the State Pen amongst the general prison population.... THAT would teach her a lesson she wouldn't forget in a hurry and probably scare her 'straight....' A for her "sentence", a few weeks???? Excuse me, but surely if you break probation conditions then you should actually serve the time you were meant to, in her case three years for DUI....
June 7, 200718 yr FFS the b**ch has been released after 3 days    -_- -_-   Anyone want any Arnie DVD's ??. feel like burning the whole fukkin lot right now
June 7, 200718 yr Grrrrrr I'm so mad. How dare she firstly get her sentence cut from 46 to 23 days, and then only serve THREE.
