May 6, 200718 yr I love Toto, I don't think those lyrics are that bad..the ABC ones are terrible. I'd have to think of some songs that have bad lyrics.
May 7, 200718 yr Surely 'Marie Serneholt - I Need A House' would class as worst lyrics even though its a pop classic :P. I need a house, I need a room I need a bed to sleep in I need a coffee and a kitchen sink I need a house, and a car and a dog and a cat and a fish and a job and garden And 'Cande Jay - Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling' My heart is in your hands now My eyes are stuck on you I want to be your lover I hope you like me too
May 7, 200718 yr # 2 Snap - Rhythm Is A Dancer I'm as serious as cancer, When I say Rhythm is a Dancer. # 7 Oasis - Champagne Supernova Slowly walking down the hall, Faster than a cannonball, Where were you when we were getting high? # 9 Human League - The Lebanon Before he leaves the camp he stops, He scans the world outside, And where there used to be some shops, Is where the snipers sometimes hide. # 10 Black Sabbath - War Pigs Generals gathered in their masses, Just like witches at black masses.
May 8, 200718 yr these two are great songs and diffenatly dont deserve to be in this list totally disagree......... apart from snap 'rythym is a dancer' what about trio 'da da da'? or mr blobby? or telletubbies? or all then party songs like 'the birdie song', 'agadoo' (push pineapples shake the tree)... i wont have a word said against razorlight 'somewhere else'.. its superb! Just because a song is good doesn't mean the lyrics are too. I like over half of these songs, all good. But every one of those 10 lyrics are indeed AWFUL. Edited May 8, 200718 yr by RabbitFurCoat
May 8, 200718 yr Also, Osiris, you've stumbled there twice. Neither song is great musically either. I assume Europop (Snap excepted due to its notoriety) has been banned from the list. "Must be the reason why I'm king of my castle, must be the reason why I'm free in my threshold" - Wamdue Project - 'King of my Castle' "Please tell me why do we build castles in the sky? Oh the castles way up high" - Ian Van Dahl - 'Castles in the Sky' and my favourite "My lover in the morning, he's got his trampolene" - Gala 'Freed From Desire'

May 8, 200718 yr What about El Chombo - Chacarron? "Chacarron, Chacarron, aliluliron,, Chacarron, Chacarron, aliluliron, aluealuealeuale ualuelaelaellalea, alsualsualualauusualulus alsualsualualauusualulus ...ualuealuealeuale ualuelaelaellalea, alsualsualualauusualulus alsualsualualauusualulus Chacarron, Chacarron, aliluliron, Chacarron Chacarron, n', Chacarron, aliluliron, Chacarron, Chacarron"
May 9, 200718 yr  some of those are pretty bad, but this is just c**p: Justin Timberlake- Nothin' Else: There's nothing else that I have seen There's no getting around it Or in between You're out of this world Except you're not green
May 9, 200718 yr "Must be the reason why I'm king of my castle, must be the reason why I'm free in my threshold" - Wamdue Project - 'King of my Castle' wow is thats what really been said there. i've been dinging the wrong end part for years!!! well there another mondegreen for the books
May 10, 200718 yr Well, I think that's what it is, but originally on the radio I thought she was singing about tressle tables.
May 11, 200718 yr As for Oasis, I always liked the ambiguity of that lyric! I agree. I have always loved that lyric myself. ^_^
June 26, 200718 yr Think Writers Block by Just Jack is a contender, why did they bother re-issueing it???
June 26, 200718 yr Cos it was out before he became famous and there's nothing else on the album. The same reason why they re-release anything. It's pathetic.

Nothing else of interst on that album??? I heard it was mostly jazz-funk noodlings but to re-issue this must be desperate. total one hit wonder (yeah know he's tech has 3 hits but c4 would inc him alongside dr and the medic wouldnt they)
November 17, 201311 yr Some of them are hilarious.... Especially the lyrics of "Life"... I don't want to see a ghost, It's the sight that I fear most, I'd rather have a piece of toast, Watch the evening news. And it was No.1 for some weeks in European Chart 15 years ago..I like it though..
November 17, 201311 yr "My lover in the morning, he's got his trampolene" - Gala 'Freed From Desire' It's actually "My lover's got no money, he's got his strong belief".
November 18, 201311 yr  It's actually "My lover's got no money, he's got his strong belief". Heh heh, I know...but I like my version. By the way, one song that should have been on this list is "Never Ever" by All Saints. The spoken intro is the worst form of schoolkid poetry going.
