Be honest now.....have there ever been arguments on here? I've not been here long but it has been very refreshing to see when someone has posted something they dont like...whether its Wills interest in acting , banners, or whatever, it has been accepted without judgement much as it would be in a face to face chat...its nice....so far I am really liking it here.

Although it has to be said that I had a similar experience a couple of years back which went sour when the owner of the site lost their Will love :(

 

Don't think we've ever had any fallings out with each other but we have had spats with fans of other artists & wind up merchants.

I do know that people have said some not very nice things in the past about my friends but I have no idea it it was any members from here, like I said, I came to read a thread, but decided to stick around for a while as I seemed to like the 'feel' of the place. :D

This is an interesting thread. Different to others and it is where we can air our opinions on all sorts of subjects, to do with Will, of course. Thanks for starting it.

 

I am one of the people who is delighted that Will has gone into acting. I really don't get much chance to listen to his music - husband here most of the time! So to be able to see him doing something like MHP and The Vortex was a real treat for me. I do listen to the albums in the car but at the moment I don't have one.:(

 

Like all of you, I am missing him dreadfully. I watched all the PI episodes when Tom was away last week and that was wonderful. I saw lots of ITV2 interviews that I hadn't seen before.

Interesting comment Dot that you like to watch the old stuff.....I myself have gone right off of watching all that......it no longer seems like Will anymore. I find it difficult to associate that fresh faced innocent to the wicked little imp who taunts us nowadays :D

I must say that i very rearly watch any of that pop idol stuff either..it just seems so long ago. and not really viable anymore.

i don't watch the first live in London DVD either much...i do like where were are at the moment and look forward to where were going..its exciting. :dance: :cheer:

I love both, the old stuff for the memories, a bit like watching old video footage of your kids, it has that Awww factor :) But I'm also looking forward to adding loads more new stuff to the ever growing collection :cheer:

Going off a bit on a tangeant but now realising who you are Dot on Devoted, I loved your story of your meeting with Will at the Vortex. It's the one I think of. You were so lucky. It came into my mind because I had a nice dream about meeting him last night but would love one day to be able to have a proper relaxed conversation with him, even if it was very short.

I can't see the point in living in the past anyway Mary. Will is forever looking forward eager for the next project no matter in which direction it takes him. I reckon he would be a bit :huh: if he was told that a person preferred him as he was. I for one am more than happy to tag along. I have a lot of years head start on him and, selfishly, want him to have all his experiences whilst I can still enjoy them. :D

I wouldn't say I prefer him as he was and I agree that the Will who won PI doesn't seem like the same person who did the KO tour but I do sometimes

watch very old Will stuff...even the Final :D it feels weird though...he really has changed so much...but all the changes are good ones.

I agree every now and again i wallow in some PI nostalgia...usually when Will is not about ^_^ but i love Will as he is now, I think the KO tour is the best thing he as done so far :yahoo:

That's exactly how I reacted afer meeting him at the Rex - he looks so flipping young :unsure: Put me right off my perving for quite some time let me tell you! A couple of stubble pics later and I was back to normal though so no lasting damage done :D

That is exactly how I feel Lainey. And there is a lot of interviews and ITV2 stuff which I have never seen. I didn't have Sky then so didn't even know that these programmes existed until much later.

 

Don't get me wrong, I am as anxious as the rest of you about the new stuff and cannot wait!

 

I have got so much stuff you wouldn't believe. I have all the footage I recorded on VHS and then acquired all the same things on DVD! I am very loathe to get rid of the VHS tapes just in case I missed something.

 

We are very lucky to have the footage we do have because some people don't have that of their favourites. Will was on TV a great deal and we got some lovely concerts and performances. Just want more, more, more! :D

Like you TT I've been here since the start of BJ, and before that on Cool Clarity. Some of us may have different opinions on some aspects of Will, but I don't remember a single incident of any fallings out. We've accepted that others may have different opinions that don't always coincide with our own. The only time the daggers have been out is when trolls have invaded.

 

I didn't go to The Vortex, mainly 'cos I had a foot operation, and wasn't able to drive at the time. Whilst I would certainly have liked to have seen him just once, I much prefer him singing.

So do I Panther - I punch the air as well. :blink: :yahoo: I love almost everything Will, old, not so old and new. Like Dot I watched my old PI vids only last week. I do this about once a year and gradually work my way through all the other vids and clips from over the years. I get a real buzz out of them to see how he was then and how he has grown to what he is now. Superstar. :yahoo:

Your right Dot..you are lucky with Will...he has done some so much in five years if you really think about it..he's put some much hard work into his career :wub:

i was thinking about Nat B and her second album selling just 19k this week..and to think when Wills third album did 107k it's first week the end was predicted again. :rolleyes:
