Posted May 5, 200718 yr Ok I am aware this could of gone in the S Club forum but I wanted more opinions on this. In their one single, (from the massive selling number 133 album Welcome to Avalion Heights) Dreaming they don't seam to know who is ment to be singing. It is ment to be a duet between Frankie (the girl) and Calvin (the boy) it is fine in the verses as both voices are clearly heard but in the chours it is clearly more than two voices, although some will say it is just Frankies but it is clearly diffrent from the verses yet it ment to be just the same two singers, this is shown even more when a line from the chours is repeted during a musical interlude and just Frankie goes to sing it. The other problem as you will see from the clip below is they are obvisly lip syncing as Frankie is shown to be sort of missing the start of the song by not raising her microphone quick enough and later during the second verse seams to forget she is ment to be singing into it and seams to keep mispostioning it. Speaking of that Calvin also seams to have his microphone to far away from his face so if it was actualy live it would be picked up and seams to spend big parts of the song with it aimed at his neck. a2fveQ67yjU Does anyone have any thoughts on this pointless 13member band which actualy only had 2 members on stage for this preformance, although i think a few of the dances may been in the tv show?
May 5, 200718 yr Author Oh god that song was AWFUL! I think it could be compotition for some of the worst lyrics
May 5, 200718 yr The whole concept of this was so wrong. I surpose it worked as a tv show - actually that was c**p trying to be Miami 7, which yeah wasn't brilliant but at least had charm. They should have just stuck with the S Club 8 concept but there you go
May 5, 200718 yr VILE. I was bewildered at how 3 amazing songs from The 411, Anastacia and Avril could flop on that week yet this pile of w*** could make the top 20. The entire S Club Juniors campaign was a complete load of UGH.
May 5, 200718 yr dunno what the problem is... frankie and calvin sung the verse, everyone sung the chorus... simple. it was a poor effort though, as a track as most of their material was good enough pop, for a manufactured band anyway. so what if they lips sync? they are/were 15? 16? when professionals like britney and madonna do it then you cant criticise some kids!

I've been listening to S Club 8 and I was CONVINCED that you liked them but I kept telling myself you would never, I knew it!
