In August, it was rumoured that the 24-year old artist was going to come out of the closet in Essence magazine. When questioned by New York’s Albany Times Union he responded, "Anybody who knows me, knows I'm not gay.” “I'm blessed to have very, very, very real people in my corner. Some managers will not tell the artist certain things because they don't want to stress them out,” he continued “ My managers are like, 'Yo, it's a dirty game.' I respect them for that.” “I look at that as I've officially made it. If my name is in your mouth, that means I'm on your mind. I take it all in stride." Ne-Yo's debut album, In My Own Words, was released in early 2006 through Def Jam Records. He has said that he has written songs for Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Corbin Bleu and Enrique Iglesias for their upcoming albums.

May 8, 200718 yr I don't see how it makes him gay :unsure: because people talk about his sex life i think i made my first post on here ait unclear. the reason that he has written a song about being addicted to sex is cos of people always talkng about his sex life and i aint saying that that makes him gay. i hope that clears it up a TINY bit
