Madonna put together the longest string of top 10 hits ever assembled by a female vocalist, she had more top 10 hits this year than anyone male or female, has ever had in one calendar year. Top 10 hits with Material Girl, Crazy for you, Into the groove, Holiday, Angel, Gambler and Dress you up.

 

3 big hits with the same title this year - The power of love by Frankie Goes to Hollywood (hanging over from 84), Jennifer Rush and Huey Lewis & News.

well the vocals have been vocoderized (if there is such a word :lol: ) but this video is from around the time of the Europop/Eiffel 65 album and hits also originating from Italy. However i think Gigi's video was better than Eiffel's eve with all the space aliens. this video is so simple (think its actually from a comic strip???) but keeps me hooked till the end.
