Thanks to Kill The DJ on the Popjustice messageboards for this:

Sophie Ellis Bextor - Tripping The Light

...Is the tentative title for the next album from Miss Ellis-Bextor.

Completely moving away from the 'indie' sound of the last album, Tripping The Light Fantastic reverts back to the sound of 'Groovejet' along with elements of dance and electro pop.

Mooted first single is a Cathy Dennis and Greg Kurstin song, who were last seen together on P!nk's 'Centrefold'. Called 'Catch You' the song is an electro-pop stomper with SEB purring 'Run to where you want... I am going to find you...' Other tracks include co-writes with Richard 'Biff' Stannard, Matt Prime amongst others. One particular track is looped round a Kraftwerk sample, and another is an ibiza house stomper. Definitely an album to keep an eye out for...

I'm hoping for an electro pop extravaganza ala Circles (Just My Good Time)

I can't wait. :cheer:

I love Sophie so much!! I've overplayed her last two albums so this will be something fresh and new. And it's about bloody time, things are coming together.

Fab! :D :cheer: can't wait ... and if it has got Cathy Dennis' hand on it, it must be good

Pic of Sophie I scanned from Heat.

She looks brilliant up to the launch of new stuff, I can't wait. It's been too long.

I liked her first album but I was very disappointed with the singles from her second. I'm hoping she'll be huge again this time.

A lot of the album tracks from the second were brilliant, such as 'Love It Is Love', 'The Walls Keep Saying Your Name' and 'You Get Yours'.

I'd strongly recommend hearing those if you haven't.
