I wasn't keen on her second album. The first was much stronger for me. She also seemed to be taking the cool and aloof thing a little bit too far.

Is she with the same label? Because the second album didn't exactly set the charts alight. Having a baby was a convenient opportunity to take a break and come back afresh.

A lot of the album tracks from the second were brilliant, such as 'Love It Is Love', 'The Walls Keep Saying Your Name' and 'You Get Yours'.

I'd strongly recommend hearing those if you haven't.

I was going to buy her second album as well, until I heard 'I Won't Change You'. I'm sure I'll see it in a bargain bin somewhere

Just found this here :D

Sophie Ellis Bextor forthcoming track 'New York City Lights' Prod/Writer

Sounds pretty cool and electro :D

Let's hope she's successful this time though. :(

I always liked her style she always seemed to have a "ballsy" attitude about herself. I wouldnt want to cross her I know that

I hope she has a hit though

I'm quite excited about her new album. She has worked with some good producers and there is currently a big gap in the pop market right now. I love the new single and hope it gets a good reception.
