New single from The Twang, physically released on 28th May

I think it's pretty excellent, and I thought the same about Wide Awake even if it did have the word MILF in it

Most people think they're scum though it seems, but I hope this is a bigger hit for them and hopefully the album will be released shortly after :D

Agreed... "The Twang???"  Sorry, but am I actually meant to take a band called "The Twang" seriously......? What happened to all the cool Indie band names...? Like Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Lush, Slowdive, Curve, Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream, Campag Velocet, etc.....? There really is an absolute dearth of thought going into some of these band names.... Like just putting a "The" in front of something random is gonna make a cool name....

Really doesn't help that the singer seems to think that he's the new Shaun Ryder or Ian Brown either.... Like there could ever be another one of those legends.....

Campag Velocet...

Anyway, I think this is better than Wide Awake, although the initial excitement of The Twang has worn off a bit for me.

You actually got excited about this bunch of dreary, generic fukkers....?? Mate, you disappoint me.... :P

Yeah, I went to see them live and they were pretty good - ok, not as good as the bands they're influenced by but I'd rather hear a facsimile of the early 90s than another batch of Libertine Monkeys copyists.

Nowt to do with hype. Luckily, by avoiding mass media recently I haven't become sick of them either.
