Posted May 7, 200718 yr I had a chance to be in Finland for the Eurovision week and I took advantage of it. Today I went to see D'Nash's live performance (and actually also saw Denmark since it was right before D'Nash). I have been a little worried about how they are going to manage sing live but at least this time they sang very well. They even sang "Stand By Me" almost accapella and appearantly they really can sing. Tomorrow I think I'll go to check UK out (I would have gone also to see Czech but they perform too early and Cyprus but I have an earlier engagement same time so I will miss that one). Tomorrow Iceland's performer has a free concert in a bar so I might check that one out and on Wednesday Mihai Traisteriau (or however his last name is spellt, the Tornero dude from last year) is going to have a gig in a restaurant and I might also check that one out.

May 7, 200718 yr Author So are these sets open to everyone then? Yeah, all these are open for everyone, D'Nash today, UK tomorrow etc. are outside gigs in a kind of Eurovision fair area. I think almost all of the entrants are going to perform there before the final. Iceland's gig tomorrow and Tornero dude's gig on Wednesday are in bars, Iceland being free and Tornero dude with a entrance fee of five euros (not too bad). And, of course, there is age limit (18 I think) for the bar gigs. There are whole bunch of other happenings also (country parties etc) so loads of free/cover charge places to see the entrants performing.
