As they were going today, a presenter from BBC announced that Darius will be on their morning show - some time after 6am. My mum heard that and phoned me all excited. It was a good phone call.

Nice clip of Colourblind on TOTP but why,why,why is it always Colourblind? Darius has been on TOTP many other times with 5 other singles and once on TOTP Saturday with Only You! They don't do that to other artists.

 

Grrrrrrr! They called him the Pop Idol reject who fought his way to fame and fortune. Hello. Darius came in 3rd in Pop Idol.

I was annoyed at the bit when they showed CB clip then said form pop reject to guys and dolls!! but to give them credit, it was a great interview and they did mention all he has done and give him a lot of credit for his success- I was worried they would not mention anything. he was looking great and gave a great interview. the voice is as velvet as ever, and the bit of Luck be a lady was very smooth!! looking forward to tomorrow

I have to agree, a great interview, Darius sounded mature, relaxed and happy with his life. And nice he was also saying about his recording of his next album and who he was working with. I enjoyed watching it.

Now that is more like it. I don't think any viewers would have been left in any doubt that Darius is still around and has absolutely no intentions of leaving the music scene, although, as the presenters said, he has carved out a new stage career.

 

He looked very handsome in his suit and tie.

 

Darius wore a tie :w00t: Maybe he's getting used to the feel of one around his neck again or maybe he's getting into character, but either way the guy suits a suit.

 

I liked too that although his experiences on reality talent shows were not as he has revealed in the past, in his opinion ideal, Darius was very supportive of these as a platform for new talent to emerge.

 

Do you think he was teasing us with the tiniest of tiny snippets of Luck Be A Lady ? It sounded great to me.

He is so media savvy. He'll make a great ambassador for the tour. I'm sure they must have been happy with what he managed to pack into less than ten minutes.

 

I was really surprised to hear Darius was on TV so soon. I didn't expect anything until maybe the week before he started.

 

However, if his rehearsals are in London, it makes sense to do the southern/national shows now and fit in a couple of local ones when he's in Liverpool and Edinburgh. I don't really mind seeing Darius on TV again and again anyway, so the more, the merrier.
