Irish pop group WESTLIFE are going to the movies - by recording an album of film soundtracks.

The new album will be the third themed disc the quartet have recorded, after singing swing classics on Allow Us To Be Frank in 2004 and famous love songs on The Love Album last year (06).

On their forthcoming eighth studio album, Westlife will sing Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On from Titanic (98), I Will Always Love You from The Bodyguard (92), Eveything I do (I do it for you) by Bryan Adams and Wet Wet Wet's Love Is All Around from Four Weddings And A Funeral (94).

Will someone please join me in getting a restraining order against westlife for all songs recorded by another artist so they actualy have to record origanl material them selves instead of doing cheap and easy cover versions.

I wonder if they will ever release an album of original stuff again..

isn't this their second album of covers in a row?

They make me cringe LOL!

Another cover album?

Why oh why do their fans keep buying into this, do they really not have a clue and not see how pathetic this is? :manson:

it is. I will go against it this time... I will contact nicky..

I really shudder to think what "film themes" they'll cover, apart from the excrutiatingly awful list already noted....

If they even DARE to do Nilsson's legendary "Everybody's Talkin'" from "Midnight Cowboy", the theme from "Shaft" or Louis Armstrong's "We Have All The Time In The World" from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", then I will personally take out a contract on their miserable fukkin' lives..... <_< <_<

I think Westlife have lost it now, they need to split up I think!

Lost it?? They never had it to begin with mate.... Manufactured c**p, and always was... Musical equivalent of Turkey Twizzlers Junk Food....

more like a restraining order against the fans to stop them from buying lazy ass mor cover albums/singles

Mark ronson's album shows that a covers album can be amazing, but westlife are just tedious, them and mcfly need to split asap to save the charts from being totally ridiculed!!!!!

Well if they are happy to allow Simon Cowell to choose their music can't say I'm surprised. I fear for Leona long term.

They wouldn't be able to sing those classics in tune anyway :smoke:

Honestly though people don't buy their music, they are attrocious in every way.

If anything they are an example of how the music industry crumbled, because the amount of songs covered out there right now is shocking.

Having seen this story all over the net. Maybe we should have fun in this thread and think up some highly inappropriate movie songs for the 'Loife to murder cover? :teresa:

After all if Louis Walsh is reading this thread then he might get the boy's to cover the tracks:

I'll start off - Taken from the 1983 cult vampire movie "the Hunger" & has been in two other vampire movies "Thirst" & "The Curve"

Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead
