i agree that its her weakest release yet. there are so many good songs on fires that could've been released. but if learning to breathe can only make number 60 or so then this has no chance!

what has she done?

This song is absolutely appalling?!

Ugh.

Hmm, I do agree it's not Fires standards.

But it's quite summery & it's not a proper lead single, just something to keep us stum whilst she beavers away on the new album, which is sounding very, very good.

Single's not doing too good at the moment I'm afraid... Has failed to chart since its release on itunes on June 25th... :(

And the physical (which was supposed to be released this Monday, July 9th) has been postponed indefinitely. Or at least it has been postponed and no release date has been confirmed yet, to sound more optimistic... Her official website says "summer single to be released soon".

Sorry to dig up a dormant topic - but for those who give a damn, the Cicada Remixes were added to iTunes this morning & are actually pretty good as far as Remixes go!

Far better than the Edison remix anyway.

It seems that Peg is being tested on the club circuit before anythingis decided i.e. a commercial release - which I think is a bad move, as everyone who wants the song will have downloaded it by now, and the 'summer' will be over before they have time to promote it, and the moment alas, will have passed. :(

Here is the original:

Steely Dan - Peg (live)

its getting really terrible in the former smash hits land if people are obsessing over records that were orginally by Steely Dan.

on the same note: james blunt, still a dildo btw
