May 10, 200718 yr For christ's sake, that was absolutely ridiculous. I think there should be two separate festivals for now on, one for Western Europe and one for Eastern Europe. No Western song qualified....not even my fave Andorra which i thought at least had a fair chance going through. Well, at least I guessed seven songs right but to be honest none of my real favorites made it through even thou few ok songs did qualify. For the final, I think Ukraine is the biggest favorite followed by Russia and Serbia. Germany is most likely to finish last (second time in three years). Spain could do surprisingly well and same goes with Finland as long as both coutries will have good shows.

May 10, 200718 yr Edsilia gave a great performance but it wasn't very memorable tbh... Aside from Switzerland and possibly Malta I think the right countries went through. Turkey going through is a joke but it happens every year seeing as there are so many of them dotted round Europe so mehh. -_- I didn't think Switzerland was that good, Malta should have went thru instead of Turkey, I actually picked 4 of the final 10 Belarus, Moldova, Macedonia, Slovenia, was tempted to pick Georgia but I didn't expect it to go thru but it did, not a bad track actually. I think Slovenia could walk it all the way, the song is different from the rest, so it stands out, I think the voters will go for Slovenia, if they want a one horse race.

The Andorran song would be big in the UK and Ireland, but really, how many Montenegrins or Belorussians are gonna listen to that type of song? Not many I don't think. The Netherlands had a good song and a good performance, but it wasn't memorable. DJ Bobo was the Kate Ryan and Selma, and the rest - Belgium, Portugal, Austria are pretty poor...

May 10, 200718 yr I am now warming to some of the semi-finalists thru. Macedonia, Slovenia, Armenia, Latvia, Bulgaria and Moldova. I will NEVER warm to Hungary, i cant believe it got through.
May 10, 200718 yr i just want to add that on the final the western countries that will be performing will be as many as the eastern ones. i am very happy for all the participants that made it to the final. I wish them luck and hope that my favourites will show their best.
