This is a wee bit early?

Discuss in one of the others or the chat will be diluted, if we have it beginning at 7 then it'll have more activity and more discussion, otherwise we'll have talked about everything by then!

And yes, I'm really excited

And perhaps the title should be changed to 'ESC 2007 Final Thread', there's not much need for 'Official' and 'Buzzjack'

Ah well, it doesn't matter that it's a bit early! :cheer:

I think we should start by givin videos of some fabulous entries from times gone by ^_^

1991 - France - Amina - La dernier qui a parle - 2nd

And, one of the big questions of the night, will Scooch emulate the last top ten success our country had under Jessica Garlick 5 years ago?

2002 - UK - Jessica Garlick - Come Back - 3rd

I'm looking forward to it, actually I want Slovenia or Moldova to win, I'm not fussed out of those two. Russia might falter towards the end of the voting.

I'm rooting for a victory for any of the countries in my sig EXCEPT Ukraine

Ukraine is horridly addictive, so therefore I don't want it to win ^_^

And a flavour of what might have been may come with the results tonight, so here's the greatest robbery EVER in the Eurovision Song Contest, Malta, a country which truly would love to host Eurovision, robbed in 2002 by a Latvian striptease despite having a pure pop song

2002 - Malta - Ira Losco - 7th Wonder - 2nd

Mowbli, do you mind adding some info to the first post of this thread? ^_^

Could you add: "Tonight the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 will be broadcast in the UK on BBC1 in Full HD starting at 8pm with the usual commentary from Terry Wogan, as well as receiving full radio coverage on Radio 2 from 8pm with Ken Bruce, with the coverage ending at 11:15pm on radio and TV." as there will be the usual questions as to when it begins, and could you also link to http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=37742 which shows the final running order so we don't get any questions about that? ^_^

I want Serbia to win :cheer: and I liked the Georgia performance very much

Of course I don't mind!

The Ukraine entry makes me laugh far too much......DANZING

It has to win!

I want Serbia to win :cheer: and I liked the Georgia performance very much

Having gone through all 24 songs I would like to see a Serbia, Russia & Belarus (1-2-3), but I can easily see Ukraine winning because unlike the United Kingdom entry it is brilliantly terrible as opposed to just being 3rd rate Steps terrible.

Anyway, my favourite UK entry of the last 20 years or so would be:

Imaani - Where Are You? (2nd with 166 Pts in 1998 - she was robbed IMHO.)

Where Are You  CLASS R&B, in any case, I wouldn't have minded it if this or Dana International won, they're both fab ^_^

My winner:

Bosnia & Hercegovina

I want in top 10 also:

Armenia

Belarus

Bulgaria

Germany

Greece

Finland

France

Lithuania

Turkey

My top 5 for tonight:

1st - Hanna Pakarinen - Leave Me Alone (Finland)

2nd - Serebro - Song No1 (Russia)

3rd - Dmitry Koldun - Work Your Magic (Belarus)

4th - Natalia Barbu - Fight (Moldova)

5th - Magdi Ruzsa - Unsubstantial Blues (Hungary)

2002 - Malta - Ira Losco - 7th Wonder - 2nd

Her music has changed a lot since then, she now does stunning pop/rock songs.
