Adam Levine called George Bush a "douchebag" in a Blender magazine article back in 2004. I can't believe he'd criticize her for bashing Bush.

I'm no fan of hers, but I find myself sympathising quite a lot with Lily Allen these days. :o

Perhaps it's her own fault because of her early image/interviews, but it seems everything she says gets turned into her trying to start a fight or "attacking" someone. For example, I don't think any of her comments about Kate Moss were that bad at all, but the media seemed to make out they were.

I think she does have a point about Dubya, and, as with most of Lily's comments, it's nothing that hasn't been said by many people already- including many Americans. And that bloke from Moron 5 is a smug tosser. That band make such bland music.

Exactly... In fact, Lily's views on Kate Moss are the very font of restraint compared to the utter (deserved) savaging us lot gave her on the 'Kate Moss' thread in "Perspectives".....

(plug! plug!)

And she's not exactly wrong about Dubya either....

Maroon 5 are one of the most boring bands I have ever had the misfortune of hearing, they make sodding Coldplay sound exciting......

What a fukkin' hypocrite then..... <_<

He's not really bashing her for bashing Bush, I think he is just bashing her in general.
My parents are rightwing conservatives and even they hate bush! he's a complete A**, I totally back Lily Allen for slamming bush, Adam Levine is probably like one of five pop stars out there who actually support bush.

what is it with the new breed of US pop stars?

Is it the 'in' thing to be right wing, conservative and Bush-loving now?

First we had The Killer's Mr Flowers giving 'that' Q interview and destroying his public image, then we had tosh like The Fray, all religious freakos... and now possibly the most boring band on the planet sticking up for George Bush?

VERY worrying...

what did he say? :o

he needs to get off his high horse. he's hardly whiter than white himself now, is he.
and the sooner bush is gone, the sooner the world might start to like america again..

he stuck up for George Bush.... and said all the make-up, feyness and gay stuff he projected around the time of Hot Fuss was all just for business... that he's a happily married Mormon and that he isn't into gays at all.

HE'S A MORMON?!?

LMFAO.

Well I did not think I'd be defending Lily Allen a few months ago.

But she is a funny, charismatic person when compared to the biggest knob in US pop music at the moment. Adam Levine is the Tom Cruise of US Pop music. There is something unmistakenly cocky about every interview he does, that makes you just want to punch him.

Personally, if Adam Levine thinks Lily Allen is in the wrong for attacking George Bush. Then it is he who is the idiot IMHO.

Plus his bands new single is unbelievably awful in a third rate Duran Duran (circa 1987) sort of way.

I didn't think I'd ever defend her either - I think she's the spoilt daughter of a celebrity - but you can't fault her views on Mr Bush! Also (if we are to believe what we read in the media) some people have been saying awful things about her appearance (saying she's ugly and fat) - well - I'm not her biggest fan - but they must be blind - although I'm not too fond of her music either (although I did like Smile) she is certainly one of the prettiest girls in celebrity land right now! She looks refreshingly normal.

Disappointed in Adam Levine too - if its true what he said - I really liked Songs About Jane and I quite like their stuff now - but as a person - I'm rapidly going off him.
