Armenia was for diaspora though, there isn't much of a Palestinian diaspora in Europe is there? :unsure: If there is I doubt it will have much effect - it'll be smaller than the Jewish diaspora that votes for Israel and that doesn't have much power these days ^_^

 

I doubt Palestine will enter tbh, they'll get kicked out for refusing to show Israel or summin :lol:

So far, the the countries that confirmed a 2008 particpation are Belgium, Netherlands, Austria and (of course) Serbia.

Ireland won't withdraw, we love it way too much here and are quite proud of winning it the most times :wub:

I agree, I don't think Ireland will really withdraw. They've won and done well so often, they can afford this years flop without it tarnishing their reputation.

I also heard that we're still gonna participate and that we have to keep on trying to find the right act/song so we will go through to the finals. Dunno when the actual decision will be made though. If I hear summit I will let u all know ;)

It wasn't sensational for me...Malta often send one of my fave songs (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005)...'I do' from last year was alright but he wasn't really in tune...Vertigo was good but not incredible and I wouldn't have ever voted for it over the other songs on offer...

I Do was incredibly dire. I liked Desire from 2000, and in fact all other entries since then except 2001. That bloke is really quite a shocking singer, with really bland songs.

well only if it was Bono, Gavin Friday and the Man Seezer doing their Peter and The Wolf thing, as Sergei Prokofiev was Russian composer who did the original and the story was russian too so they will get loads of ex-soviet bloc votes :lol:

It would pretty much guarentee a win though, but it would never ever happen and would'nt be fair on other smaller countries who did'nt have mege successful stars to put through.
