LOVE STORY

 

Katharine McPhee will be trying her luck with this Summery track talking about a "typical love story". The song goes for radio adds in late May, and it is rumoured that Katharine will be premiering the song on the American Idol finale. There was a battle between this and Open Toes, but when the two songs were tested on radio, it was shown that Love Story will more then likely reach a larger demographic. Katharine McPhee's debut single "Over It" has surpassed more then 400,000 downloads in the US, and her self titled debut album has sold more then 320,000 copies since it's release in late January.

But she is smart for doing this, in America a song like this could easily become a radio hit, especially with the current season. I bet she will get top with this, and top ten if she premiers it on AI. Home, Not Ur Girl & Open Toes are running to get the third release, mainly between Not Ur Girl and Open Toes.

If she released in the UK it should DEFFINITELY be released, but I don't know when it comes to the US :unsure:

Dear God i've only heard about 6 tracks and i'm obsessed already. :o

 

I'm onto Everywhere I Go and it's GORGEOUS. :o Loving Over It, Dangerous, Open Toes and Better Off Alone too, this could my favourite album of 2007. :o

 

Sorry for the increased amount of " :o 's" but I honestly thought she would be a complete rip of Carrie Underwood. :mellow:

I downloaded it. :P I wasn't sure if I would like it so I decided to download first to save myself the waste of money. ^_^ I shall be buying it now though!

It really is! But, I think considering that she didn't release until after the Holiday rush she got there when the dip in sales happens every year. If she can score a hit with the higly commercial "Love Story" in America she could easily surpass Gold status...Open Toes would bring her album back into the top ten and give her a top ten single if she promoted!
