My husband and I really love Queen and Freddie Mercury, so we have Freddie's name set up on our Tivo wishlist. Anyhoo, it automatically recorded this show from the Logo Channel (Gay/Lesbian channel on Directv) and LOOK who shows up in several interview snippets!!!

Freddie Mercury: Magic Remixed

Take a close and intimate look at the life and career of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen and one of the most famous and distinctive voices in rock music. Featuring celebrity interviews with Elton John, Robbie Williams, Boy George, and more, as well as home video and concert footage, this documentary follows Freddie Mercury from his Indian roots to his final struggle with AIDS. Part of Logo's Real Momentum documentary series.

Date Time

Sat 05/19 9:00 AM <----- next showing

My husband started watching it without me but last night he asked if I wanted to watch it and I said yes. I was folding clothes and I hear this familiar voice and I look up and there's Robbie!! And I froze with clothes in my hands and after he finished talking I said "THAT was ROBBIE!!!" and he says "Yea I know...why do you think I stopped watching it and waited for you??"

I sighed and ooh'd and aah'd all through the program, lol!

Rob shows up several times and they show a clip of him singing "We Will Rock You" at Knebworth. Besides the bonus of seeing Robbie, it was a great documentary. Freddie was one of a kind.

It was definately a Brit program though, so I would imagine it will or has shown on European tv at some point.

Dazzleland....I think it may have been shown here already ( sometime last year I think...if it was to do with Freddie as I was away then & missed it ) but I would think that its the same show.....

They mentioned at the end that whatever month they originally aired the program would have been Freddie's 60th birthday. So whenever THAT was is when it was shown in the UK.

It's called Logo. It's a Gay/Lesbian channel on Directv. I'm not sure what other satelitte companies carry it though.
I have dishnet...im checking now...whats the name of the show??
I don't have direct tv so I can't watch it, but I think I've seen Rob's part. I remember seeing a clip online of Rob's interview. Was he wearing a black baseball cap and track top ?? He looked adorable

yea, he was defintaely casual...at the end of the interview they asked all the people they were interviewing (redundant much?) what they would like to say to Freddie if he was listening. And Rob said "if you'd like to channel through anyone...please pick me! Or at least give me a nice middle 8!"

And yes...he was tres adorable, as usual.
