Posted May 14, 200718 yr AMERICAN pop superstar Pink took time out from her record-breaking tour yesterday to visit some special fans who won't be able to witness one of her seven Sydney concerts this month. The tattooed, gravel-voiced singer showed her tender side when she spent the afternoon with young fans at the Children's Hospital at Randwick. "My mum's a nurse so I practically grew up in hospitals. It's a safe place to be," Pink said about wanting to visit the children on Mother's Day. Pink's seven-night stand at the Sydney Entertainment Centre is the most concerts by any artist since Kylie Minogue did nine shows there in 2001. The often controversial performer has been hugely popular in Australia since launching her career with her debut record, Can't Take Me Home in 2000. Her fourth album I'm Not Dead has been in the ARIA charts for more than a year, most of it in the top 10. She will perform 35 concerts on this tour with fans in Newcastle petitioning her to do even more. "I've never done anything like this - seven shows in one place - except for in my parent's bedroom singing at the top of my lungs when I was four, she joked backstage before her Friday night show. "I have always felt (love) here but this is just out of this world." Pink said she and her motocross champion husband Carey Hart had both made many friends here and had discussed having a home in Australia. "I've always connected here, there's something about Australia that agrees with me," she said. "I'm getting a real education on Australia on this trip, getting to spend time in Sydney and Melbourne, I'm understanding a lot more what this country is and why I like it so much and where I'd want to be if I moved here." Pink's familiarity with the city has even allowed her to sneak out of her hotel at night to wander the streets and check out sites such as Luna Park. Tickets for her seventh concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on June 7 go on sale on May 18 from Ticketmaster.

May 14, 200718 yr Author the little boy with the red tshirt on looks like a kid who went to the nursery which i worked at while i went college. his name was juilian and i hope for pink's sake that the little boy was nothing like him :lol: juilian was such a little $h!t, i dont think it was his fault tho, i think he had something mentally wrong with him. he always used to ask to sit on my knee but i couldnt let him cuz he used to wet himself bout 5 times a day :lol:
