He spoke candidly in an interview with American TV journalist Daphne Barak, describing the laws as "skewed". Geldof said: "It freaked me out. I could not live without my kids. I missed the sound of them turning in their sleep. "I just wanted to go to some dark, grey corner of the world and howl into the void. "If you put impediments in the way of men seeing their children - making them jump through all sorts of humiliating hoops - the kids become a weapon, a sword and a shield simultaneously. "You're suffering so much. Eventually, no person can take that and the kids lose a father." The interview will air the day before the next G8 summit next month. May 14, 200718 yr 100% spot on... True story - my friend found out his missus was having an affair, so naturally he wanted a divorce. Even though it was clearly his ex that was at fault for the relationship breaking down, she still got custody, he's lucky if he sees his three kids every second weekend... His ex is an utterly spiteful b**ch, who has done her damndest to set the kids against their father, unfortunately she has succeeded in the case of my friend's eldest son, who is almost 10 years old and hardly ever even speaks to his dad anymore even when they are together.... The courts are totally stacked in favour of the mother, and that is wrong.....
May 15, 200718 yr my mates life has been ruined by his ex.... she also was messing around... they split... he has been crippled with cha bleeding him dry so his cheating ex can live in the house hes paying the mortgage for with her new man. he hasnt seen his kids for ten years... nowt he can do..

Her behaviour at the best of times can be described as "erratic" to say the least....
May 16, 200718 yr after the split and her fateful dalliance with Michael Hutchence - yes, I agree. Before that - the woman never even drank... and never ever touched drugs. She was the embodiment of 'earth mother', believe it or not - and Geldof ruled her and every single aspect of her life with an iron fist. She even had to ask him permission to use the bloody telephone! What amazes me is that she put up with this gruesome man for so long....
