I've just seen the first showing of Angel On My shoulder. Its a very poignant video, showing all the different situations where someone is watching over a person in trouble.

Loved it

Saw it on MTV Flux. I know they're going to be showing it from 6 am tomorrow on B4. Will have to keep watch on the other channels in the morning. That's when they usually add new video's I think.

I managed to see it too, and I love it too, and the song sounds brilliant. :cheer:
what on earth is he and 19 thinking!!!! having his mum in the video  credibility out of the window before he even starts!!

OMG you are joking re his mummy that so sad

Not nearly as sad as two members with their first posts on the site, with very coincidental names. One joined back at the time Gareth's return was announced and the other today. Then a third post mentioning predictabiity by a person who couldn't be more predictable if they tried

As for credibility. How can you lose credibility for a two second hug as the credits roll. Gareth did after all write this song for his mum.

And if it is his mum, which it may not be as you only see a very fleeting back view, which could be an actress trying to portray herself as such, what is wrong with making a tribute to a loving mum. I'm sure he's not the first person to do it, and won't be the last.

Didn't take long for the knives to come out again did it. That's so sad

Back on topic. AOMS has been added to several radio playlists, including the B-list on Radio 2 :cheer:

not nearly as sad as a little group of fans thinking they can run Gareth's promotion, going around different sites posting about him trying to drum up interest when there is none

of course he loves his mum, but this over sentinemtal song and video are not going to do to him any favours and i don't think many of you lot wanted wendy in the vid now did you?

now just because you all spend all your time thinking up conspiracy theroies for why people choose to post on these boards, most of us just accept people have different opinions and get on with it. I await a lengthy sermon by snowdrop maybe or val, again!

have a good day ladies.

Will rape seed and olive be joining you soon? Or are you sticking to oils that come from yellow flowers?

It is impressive that you know so much about Gareth fans, despite being so new, or have you been lurking for months, and this is the first time you've seen a thread that interested you so much, you felt compelled to register so you could join in? What's weirder, fans reading and writing about music that interests them, or someone with an inability to use capital letters, registering with 2 similar names within an hour of a new thread appearing, with the sole intent of picking faults?

AOMS already seems to be on more playlists than Changes was on, which was expected. The song is much catchier. Not the proper video, or even the proper version, but this acoustic performance of Angel from Jonathon Ross is still fabulous!

pretty petty getting stressed about the use or not of capital letters lol i havn't been lurking, just havn't felt the need to post before. I'm not picking faults just voicing my opinion, but as i'm beginning to see you lot are not the best at accepting others have different views to you!

i'll say again the song is ,i think over sentimental and the video the same, it's tough if you don't agree! lol

Its better than his comeback single

much better

but its still not gonna be a big hit

He needs a big exciting song

There's a big difference between voicing an opinion and trying to provoke people for an argument. Which you're wandering dangerously close to.

wonder if it will be a bigger hit for his comeback?? Changes didnt do too great..

there are better songs on album, wish he'd released something like new kid in town, much more up to date, AOMS sounds very dated i think.

are all of his songs gonna be ballads?

I would say that most of the songs on the album are up beat and a bit rocky really, with a few ballads thrown in.

Gareth is performing on the Hyde Park calling in June and I am sure he will play his rockier numbers then. :D

This is a fantastic version of AOMS. Loved listening to Gareth singing it on JR and all the joking with Jonathan

The new video has now been put on the Homepage of Gareth's Official site and it was also played on The Box, First Play Friday earlier

He's definitely getting a better response with this song.

I saw it on TV earlier and I really like it! :D
