I think this song is brilliant.

 

I could not stand Gareth's dire Simon Cowell-era BMG singles especially when compared to Will Young's material, but this song is brilliant.

 

If this had been the first single instead of Changes then I really think he could have landed a #1 hit single.

I love this track. I don't know how high it'll get but, it doesn't alter the fact that I really like it. I think a more active 2nd track may do better in the charts at the moment but, this is lovely.

For any Gareth fans who may not know, he's going to be on `This Morning' tomorrow, singing live :heart:

Oh no, i was just confirming the release dates. I actually think theyve done the ring thing by releasing downloads a week earlier, but I still think the song wont do as well as Changes because theres even less publicity what with it not being a comeback single, and its had pretty much no radioplay. However ive seen the vid a few times, so i hope it can do well, he seems like a nice guy ;) Is this single launching the album btw?

Yes the album is out a week after the single, 25 June.

I keep my fingers crossed that he will do well enough to get the next single, which I hope will be an up-beat one.

Saying that I loved Changes and I love Angel on my shoulder even more.

I think the third single would almost certainly be an upbeat song as apart from 19 Minutes and Talking Minds (which is my favourite on the whole album :wub: ) there aren't really any other ballads on the album.

 

I've heard him singing Lost In You at a few of the gigs he's done and its really fantastic.
